Hampton Inn - Palatka

Christy checked me in and was very friendly and told me about the surrounding area and attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selection in the morning. Great location to attractions and dining options in downtown

Just a little pricey. Maybe since I don't travel as much anymore I'm not used to the inflationary price of hotels compared to pre-covid travel

I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, the proximity to the river, and the friendly staff. As soon as my husband and I walked in, the staff greeted us with smiles and checked us in immediately. Not only was the room (307) extremely clean, but it was extremely comfortable as well. We will definitely be staying again!

The only negative thing that I could say about this location that there is no pool.

Location at the water was very relaxing to me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very quiet.

Some type of bug was in the bed. Understandably but still a bit unsettling.

Breakfast options were fair. No grits was offered and I look forward to grits and boiled peanuts when I go home to the south. The check in hostess was very nice and took the time to explain the way the rooms are chosen.

The price was a bit steep. The breakfast host didn't have much help and food kept running out. Folks were making a mess and there was no one to clean it up. I cleaned up some of the scrambled eggs by the trash can so that folks wouldn't step in them.

Updated, very clean, and nice people at the front desk.

All the breakfast items were acceptable. The biggest gap in service is having dark brewed coffee. Too many connoisseurs and I would like to have a dark roast or black silk . I’m sure I’ve had it at your other properties. But only light coffee was offered.

I really liked the location. It has a nice view of the lake. Breakfast was ok. For those that like to drink The there is a beer and wine across the street from it. Has a few places to eat without having to get in you car to drive there.

The staff was pleasant, bed was comfortable and room was clean. The lobby area is spacious and welcoming!

The sliding door for the bathroom is annoying because it didn’t stay shut! Also don’t understand why a pet fee for this hotel was $75, basically like paying for an additional night.

It is situated right on the St John’s River. A beautiful park and walkway directly across the street.

The bathroom floors were a bit dirty. Not to the look, but when I wiped up some water off the floor the towel was lightly blackened.

Everything was great from the time I checked in, staff was very helpful and polite, room was very clean and organized, breakfast (hot) with your choice of coffee, tea or juices. Check out was very quick and easy. Lots of choices for meals in the area.

I can not think of one thing to improvement my stay except making a longer stay.

Yes it did but miss not having biscuits and bacon but the breakfast menu was Excellent a job well done nice and hot again Thanks for a well deserved Breakfast
