Convenient, clean , very comfortable and the staff were very accommodating will definitely be returning more stays

The staff in the lobby were absolutely fantastic. Service at both breakfast and the bar were very friendly and served good food and beverages. The coffee place next to the elevators offers a good option to grab something for the road. Location is great, downtown Stamford - restaurants and bars are a few minutes walk away.

I have to knock the cleanliness - I have asked repeatedly to receive fresh towels and a clean set of sheets. I stayed for 8 night, they only managed to make up my room after night 7 for the last night. Shame, as otherwise the stay was very nice.

Location was amazing! Parking was easy and the front desk was more than helpful. Loved the food at the onsite restaurant and everyone was super friendly! Also liked that they were open late for us late night snackers :)

Room was dingy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned before we got there. There was a dried up contact and a fingernail on the bathroom floor and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were basically coming out of the ceiling. The room was FINE but it was definitely not as updated as I thought it would have been especially having stayed at other Marriotts and the rooms were much nicer for a lesser price.

Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was clean and had a heated pool. It had a well-equipped gym. They even had guest laundry facilities which was very helpful for solo travelers like me who pack light. The location was awesome. It was close to the train station and to downtown Stamford. There was even a spa and a transport agency within hotel premises. They also had free tourist brochures of various US spots.

Nothing comes to mind. I would consider staying at the Stamford Marriott again given the chance.

I was slightly worried about the few negative reviews I had read,but was pleasantly surprised.The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean.The hotel itself inside is a bit old fashioned but no problem there.Parking was very easy in their car park.Easy to walk into town and restaurants.We had a meal at the Capital Grille which was very nice but expensive.

Couldn't find any fault with our one night stay

Starbucks Cafe was opened at 6am which was convenient for my husband. Woman who worked/owned the cafe was upbeat and friendly. Desk staff was pleasant, helpful. Room seemed as clean as the housekeeping staff could make it. (See next comment.)

Hotel is relatively old. Some pieces of furniture had been more recently replaced but bathroom vanity, dresser showed wear and tear.

Awesome Grohe Rain Shower Head! Starting to show some age, but this property has been a go to hotel for our family for 20 years. Great location, convenient garage parking, decent beds, clean bathrooms, central A/C (unit NOT through the wall) with digital control, decent restaurant, (had a great breakfast this week!) and Starbucks in the Cafe! ;-)

Drop ceilings in the bathroom are always a wonder?

The location was great and close enough to take a taxi to American Dream as well as Wal-Mart. I enjoyed my staff. Breakfast was awesome 👌. The beds were comfortable. Because of Covid there wasn't any room service so you had to call for towels but we cleaned up as we went along day by day.

After reviews indicated property was worn down, I was pleasantly surprised to experience how adequate and average it was. Dog friendly, staff warm and welcoming.

Dining venues dull and unimaginative. Service average though trying to please. Food choice fair.

Staff was incredibly kind, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy parking and a great location.

Hotel itself was rather dated and felt like a ghost town. Could use a revamp (particularly the carpets and a good paint job). Because of the pandemic, the conference center itself that the hotel sits in was eerily quiet.
