Motel 6-Thousand Oaks, CA

Nice room, comfortable bed, no noise from the highway, clean. Lots of restaurants nearby

It was 3 degrees C (37 F) outside, the room had no heating so it was pretty cold. Would be nice if the property provided blankets for winter months. On my check out day my electronic door key kept being deactivated after 10am (check out was at 11am) which meant every time I took a bag down to the car I had to go to reception to get it reactivated. It was also happening to other guests too which was creating a long line in reception, I felt bad for the receptionist as she was trying to serve customers but also had several people needing to reactivate their door keys

It was easy checking in and checking out.

My Wife & I Had Called to make sure that the Pool Was Open because our Son wanted to get in and The Hotel had Said and Assured me it was open and That my Son would be able to have some fun, the weather was perfect so we went to go buy Swim Clothes for the Three of us and once we changed and walked all the way to the pool the maintenance guy told us it was out of service that he didn't know why we were told that and why the pool was even Locked up. So we we definitely disappointed.

good location, easy access to stairs, parking. price was right. clean room and smelled good. I recently was in a hotel and it smelled horrible for triple the price.

the ice machine and one other vending machine was broken, our front door didn’t actually close all the way. there was no facial tissue.

The motel was easy to get to, the office staff was nice, the room was simple but clean. The bed was comfortable. The motel was next to an in and out burger, so dinner was easy.

The location was near a freeway, so of course we heard road noise, but not too bad.

Am really please , with the stay , if I have to book again I would definitely stay here again. The front stuff were very nice. .Me & my kids stay 2 nights there .

The one thing I didn’t like was, is that they don’t have any blankets on the bed, & gets chilly in the night .

The room was very clean

It is very dirty outside, and in the parking lot, I felt a little insecure because they have people who live in a car sleeping in the parking lot of the establishment. I think that the Motel needs more privacy so that the people who stay feel safer. outside the room.

I thought for 2 people the queen bed room was very nice, and it even had a table with a small booth to sit at. Best last minute price in Los Angeles and Ventura County.

There was no fridge and the vending ice machine downstairs was broke unfortunately.

Very comfortable room. Was able to park right in front of room. Area is very close to In and Out Burger and other food venues. Checkin staff was very friendly and accommodating in my room request.

I have no complaints at all. Staff and room was great.

Knowing that there were 4 total guests in the room they did not offer more towels. The shower head did not flow well, we wether that was due to age or water pressure I don't know.

convenient, many options for food

a/c seemed to be on a timer, even though I had it on and set to high only the fan was working. then at about 10am it kicked on and started to cool the room. then as soon as the sun went down it shut off, I’ve been here for two days and it did that on both days.
