I absolutely loved the first woman we met, I am unable to remember her name but she was a sweet young woman with wavy brown hair and she was so kind and helpful. The property was gated on our side and we had a “security” type door before our door as well, I was very happy about that. The beach was less that a 200 ft away from the hotel. you walk 50 ft and you can see the entire span on San Diego coast and ocean line. It was incredible for the price. They have an interesting “light key” which is a room key you stick into a card slide on the side of the wall and you now have power to the room, if you remove the key the lights shut off in about 60-120 seconds. The room was very clean.

No microwave, which was specified in the description so I was aware but I still don’t like not having a microwave in the room. There is a microwave in the office to use, but they close at 9pm so if you’re out late, no heated nighttime foods. Also must purchase a type of parking pass to park the the front of the building or you may get towed, it is incredibly frustrating finding parking so budget for a walking distance garage or lot down the street. Currently $60 for 24h or $8 an hour.

My only complaint is no ice maker on site. Other than that, it was wwonderful.

The location is absolutely amazing! Walk down a flight of stairs and you are at a great beach. Beautiful view. Right where you want to be! Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. My car stayed parked my entire visit. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. They are also the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. So very welcoming and accommodating! Even gave us advice to find the best breakfast and coffee around! There is a gas fire pit on-site which was useful once the sun went down and it got chilly. In the lobby they have sodas, sunscreen, ibuprofen, snacks. They also have a boogie board, a surf board, lawn chairs and some other things you are welcome to borrow.

I had such an amazing time but It was a bit noisy in the morning so if you are planning on sleeping in, I wouldn’t recommend the handicap room. Everything was spotless clean and freshly remodeled but our room was a bit small and we could have used more pillows. I’m sure the amazing staff would have provided them had I asked.

The hotel was right by the beach and I was able to see the beautiful sunsets! It was also close to so many delicious restaurants! I read reviews before my trip so I knew what to expect and so I wasn't disappointed or surprised. The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent! The front desk help, Luis has exceptional customer service skills! He was friendly, gave me great insight on the surrounding restaurants and helped with parking!

Because I knew what to expect, I wasn't surprised by the parking issue but we were able to find parking nearby.

I loved it here. It’s right on the beach, there’s tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The rooms are very cute and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff is so nice. Especially Luis! There’s a nice fire you can sit around in the evening. The price was also amazing for the location. I will be coming back in the future.

Very trivial things, I wish the fire outside stayed on longer but I assume when the front desk person leaves they have to turn it off. They don’t clean the room unless you ask and even then they only do on the third day. (I don’t care about this but someone else might so figured it was worth mentioning. Parking is a bit of a struggle. There is free street parking right next to the building but it fills up fast with other hotel guests and beach goers. They have four parking spots available but you have to pay $30 a day for one and you will need to reserve them in advanced. But if you don’t mind walking a little, there’s parking all over the place.

It looks newly renovated. The beds are doubles, not queens. The rooms are very tight. There was a foot between the bathroom door and the first bed. Barn doors on the bathrooms. Kinda awkward if ya “gotta go.” Ours would NOT stay shut. Didn’t bother me and my husband, but could be an issue. Beds were comfortable. The parking is public, and FCFS. That wasn’t fun, but what can you do? Loved that it was right on the beach and super close to SO many food spots. We walked everywhere and had a great time.

Great location and clean rooms. We had a few issues with our room and the staff was professional and very helpful. Our room issues were not the managements or properties fault, it was previous occupants mischief. Highly recommend this location.

To avoid the lack of parking issues we rented a space from the hotel.

Excellent location to the boardwalk, beach, restaurants, and grocery store all a short walk away.

Parking is limited (4 spaces at $30/day). I paid for the parking, so I wouldn’t spend time playing the parking game.

I didn’t find it until the day before that I would have to pay $30 a night for parking or search the streets for something relatively close. Early check in and check out was charged by the hour.

This location was perfect! It was a few feet from the beach and the room was clean and quite comfy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place to stay for our anniversary! It was conveniently located near so many restaurants and you can find everything you need within walking distance.

You aren’t able to reserve parking through Booking.con and it was quite difficult to find parking on the street.
