Staff was very helpful.

Air conditioning unit was very loud.

This is the 2nd year in a row that we've stayed here. location is great, nice rooms (some of them) little walk to food and shops. Next to mission Beach which isn't a bad thing

Parking can be a little hard. The air conditioning in our room this year didn't work, but the other 2 rooms we had did. Our room this year was "not the cleanest" but was fine. Also no hot tub which would have been nice

Great room, walking distance to the beach (less than 1 minute) and staff is easy to work with.

no USB charging ports (I know most will just bring their own wall adapter, but many hotels have begun to offer a charging port for USB in recent years, and ours had broke so it we had to walk to CVS to buy one. No big deal, but it is nice when they have lamps, or alarm clocks with the capacity to charge devices.

We forgot a couple of items. They found them and saved them for us. We sent a self addressed mailing envelope with postage and they returned our items. Thank you to all involved.

We stayed here before and our room was fabulous. This time we were in a different part of the motel and the room was very small. Especially the bathroom no counter space. The refrigerator and coffee pot was in the closet. Also this time the office was closed so we had to walk to their other property a block away whenever we needed anything and to check in and out.

I like the location so close to the beach. I liked that I didn't have to drive the whole time I was there everything was in walking distance all the shops restaurant etc.

I didn't like that one of the dryers ate one of my quarters but wouldn't accept any more and wouldn't give me my quarterback. So I had to go buy something out of vending machine to get more quarters. And this is nothing to do with the motel but I didn't like that dogs weren't allowed on the beach after 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The location was perfect for us, not on right on the beach but a 2min walk and we were on the sand. The pool was heated which was a bonus. Rooms were spacious with high cathedral ceilings and blue relaxing tone wall colors and beds were very comfortable. Nice small kitchen and walk-in shower with glass doors were also inviting.

No water in room to make coffee and had to use our towels for the beach/pool.

We stay here several times a year for the last couple years. We love the location! Staff is always great, rooms are always clean, price is usually the best in the area.

The beds aren't comfortable. You don't want to open the bathroom window of downstairs units because many homeless people like to camp outside your window.

Loved the location to the beach , and restaurants. Room was large we had a lot of space and didn’t feel cramped with to kids. Beds were comfortable and AC was ice cold ( we are from AZ that matters).

Parking was free that was a plus but lot was really tight and I bit stressful if a larger vehicle parked behind you.

The room was clean and updated. We had a small fridge, microwave and storage in the small kitchenette. We had a partial view of the ocean through a sliding door. No true balcony (the listing did NOT say there was a balcony, so we were excited to have even this door). The door opened to a 6” platform and wooden fence. It was so nice to open the door and close the shutter door to see/hear/smell the ocean while we were resting in the room.

The outside of the hotel room door looked liked it had been forced in- there was a lot of light that would come in through the door near the lock. It was secure, but definitely a little unsettling. Not all doors looked this way as we walked past. The hotel is run by(?) or has been acquired by(?) another hotel- pb surf side inn. Upon arriving to our hotel we saw a note on the door that we had to go to the other lobby- it’s just down the street (like a 1-2min walk) but it was a little frustrating not knowing where to go, and not having a convenient on-site lobby. Overall we would stay here again, but prefer other locations a little further south.

Sure is nice to stay right in the heart of Mission Bay. All your creature comforts, and a pleasantly humble view of the ocean from your window. Just steps from the hotel, to the sand, can’t beat that!

i’m not sure there’s anything I did not like, because all of the lakes definitely outweigh anything I would have disliked. Lol.
