The Oaks Hotel & Suites

Breakfast was fine, the room was large and comfortable. Maneuvering the TV was a bit of a challenge. On our third and last night stay we did not have ROOM SERVICE! Also when we checked in there was only 1 Robe in the room, we had ask 3 times for an additional Robe, then finally got it. Not that it was so important to have the second Robe, but with your Pool Towel Policy of returning you towels to the front desk or be charged $ 10.00 a towel, my thought was when we check out if only 1 Robe was in the Room, well they may have thought we took one with us??? Other then that all went well. We had stayed there 4 years ago and came back this time because of the great experience we had before, yet this time, a bit different.

We arrived at check in time (4 pm) to find the hallways still crowded with housekeeping staff, but this meant that they upgraded us to a suite for the same price as a double--thank you! Bed was comfortable, plenty of places to charge devices, and a small seating area and wardrobe closet. Bathroom had a large vanity counter and water pressure so hard that the shower almost hurt. Breakfast buffet (included) was fine, coffee a bit weak. Small fitness center, small bar in lobby. It was about a mile and a half from the center of downtown, not far from the Pioneer Museum and the 101. Overall, a very comfortable stay, despite the dog one floor below who was very unhappy at being left alone for about 30 minutes around breakfast time.

Love good water pressure, but this was almost too much.

centrally located. grounds are well taken care of and the lobby was clean and very welcoming. they have a small area of snacks and drinks which was awesome and a bar in house( we didn’t partake) rooms were well stocked and very clean. we had a king room so we had a couch which was a great place to relax and watch tv. our stay came with breakfast coupons and it was a full breakfast with good coffee. everything was within walking distance including a grocery store across the way where we got snacks and drinks. the staff is amazing and friendly

The staff was wonderful! Despite closing, the bartender took the time to make me a drink and even delivered it to me outside, as I was smoking. The desk clerk was kind and informative. The scenery was breathtaking. I didn't stay long enough to experience housekeeping, but the room was beyond clean. Free slippers and a usable fluffy, bath robe were bonuses on top of greatness. Breakfast is full-service, seated and tended to, while a buffet. Water pressure was amazing with perfectly hot water and full shampoo and body wash. The room was huge. I was also greeted by their unofficial "mascot," an adorable cat, in the parking lot. The parking lot also has carports. 10/10

I can't think of a single thing, except watch your shower head when you turn on the bath. Mine was left in the shower position and with the phenomenal water pressure, I nearly flooded the bathroom.

We LOVED the breakfast! So organized and like going to a restaurant, the way we were seated. And the food was super yummy! Such a variety of hot and cold items. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The safety of having the hotel doors only accessible with a key, between the hours of 10pm-6am, was reassuring to my adult daughter. We also loved having the small gym available!

I honestly can't think of anything we didn't like.

Extremely nice room with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was great too and had good facilities. Breakfast came included and was just right to start our day. The man during breakfast was very friendly. Good staff at the office desk too. We walked to downtown Paso Robles which took about 30 minutes. Downtown Paso Robles was amazing with so many bars and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here.

The curtains let a bit of light in as they didn't close fully but nothing major!

The hotel and room were spotless and quiet. Every encounter we had with the reception desk, housekeeping, dining room was professional, polite, and friendly. The lighting in the room was great, ample closet space to hang our items. The Elevators were fast, and we loved the afternoon cookies with tea! Breakfast was traditional, but everything was delicious and flavorful! Hot eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and pancakes! We were there on the hotel's 10th anniversary and they provided us with wine and olive oil as a gift! Very nice surprice.

The location is not within walking distance of downtown but had I researched more, I would have realized that.

Cleanliness, location, pet friendly.

I liked everything about the property except the location of our room. Do not book room 135. It’s right next to the ice making machine  and other vending machines and the back door. The noise  was impossible to ignore. The slamming of the back door was also impossible to ignore. This room, number 135, is a pet friendly room, which we needed. Other than that, I thought the hotel was excellent. The morning breakfast which was included was excellent.

The handicapped room was great; spacious, accessible shower, close to parking place. Breakfast was first rate. Staff very pleasant. Easy to get to town and other attractions.

The shower in the bathroom leaked water all over the floor. The handicapped room was a very long way from the breakfast room. I had to get our breakfasts and bring them back to the room. Also no trays so I had to make 3 trips (with a broken leg & ankle). Had to promise to bring back dirty dishes in 1 hour.

Location, room. It was a good value for what it was and served our needs.

Kind of strange they sent us to Grocery Outlet to go to restroom because they wouldn’t let us have keycard for lobby restroom use. We checked in early with front desk, knowing room wouldn’t be ready for hours. We had driven for hours to get to hotel. I’ve NEVER been in a hotel that wouldn’t help out a soon to be guest in this situation. So the customer service aspect disappointing.
