Oxford Suites Paso Robles

The facility was clean and convenient, with only a two-minute drive to the main part of downtown (about 6-8 blocks walking). The room was spacious and had everything we needed. A nice, hot breakfast, as well as a happy hour with a free drink, is included in the room rate.

The in-room coffee service could have been better. The hotel is a little more like a very standard mid-range hotel chain than I expected, plus it is not as walkable to downtown as I would have liked, but I had never been to Paso Robles or to an Oxford Suites before, so that was probably my mistake.

I ahve now stayed sevreral times at the Oxford Suites in Paso Robles and I like it for the modern and clean rooms, the friendliness of the staff and the great breakfast. I also enjoyed the diners at the bar when I have no time to go out.

I was disappointed to see the Tesla charger replacec by ChargePoint charger. I had no choice but to open an acocunt with ChargePoint to charge my car for my business trip. Also I tried to exercise at 6:30am only to find that the gym is not accessible until 7am. When I got back at 7:04 all macines were taken and I was not able to use any. I would recommend that the gym opens at 6am especially for business travellers who need to hit the road by 8am.

Pet friendly! Clean...nice rooms! Big bathroom and comfortable bed. What we LOVED the most is the STAFF. Everyone we interacted with was great, especially reception & bartender. NOTE: I left my laptop in our room and they shipped it to me the next business day. The staff phoned & texted me several times to coordinate getting my property back to me. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me and I will never forget it. We'll stay here when we drive from SF to LA every time! Thank you Oxford Suites staff!!

Not to complain too much but rates were high only because we traveled during Memorial weekend.

Clean, comfortable. Great upkeep of room and hotel. Or, maybe the hotel is recently built and brand new? They had free appetizer (that changed selection daily. For our stay, one day was salad, next fried zucchini sticks, last day potato and bacon soup) with free cocktail drink in the evenings. Breakfast was made to order egg omelette, with buffet style options (potatoes, starch, plain egg, breads, cereals juice or coffee). All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Ample parking. The kids loved the mocktails. We did early check-in for extra $20 charge. Husband went to Firestone Beer Event. Me and the kids drove around. About thirty minute drive to Hearst Castle. An hour from St. Anthony Mission. Thirty minutes from SLO.

That I had to go home. Would appreciate more gluten free options. I had stir fry spinach, bell peppers and mushrooms every morning with rice crispy for breakfast. I didn't ask if there was anything though. Maybe they had gluten free sliced bread or gluten free pancakes. That would have been so great!

The customer service in general was excellent, all the staff working at the time we'd stayed were very professional, nice! The Bar People (bartenders) very helpful and nice, especially Wil and an older gentleman that didn't get his name, super nice! the rooms were very clean, I really appreciate the attention to detail in the room, the extra pillows and towels also, the makeup towel in the bathroom etc.., nice! it's very refreshing to had found a nice place to stay in Paso. (The only very tiny bitty thing, I wish the shower and sink had better water pressure)

Unique property, super clean, great staff, accommodations were very nice. The included breakfast was great too and they had a nice selection of snacks/drinks during day. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner but looked good. Location was good as it's at the south end of downtown...not far to get to square. Also, it was a very nice touch by management to include a bottle of wine in room and inviting guests each night to a complimentary happy hour.

Not a fan of beds that are not connected to headboard. When sitting up against headboard, found at times the bed would move away from wall. Pillows would fall between bed and wall. Also, the options for lighting the room aren't great. You have super bright overhead lights controlled by a switch at door and only two dimmer lights in the room, one small lamp between beds and another small desk lamp. You either have very bright or very dim...not great. Also, bathroom lighting wasn't great. Too dim at mirror.

I like the room, comfortable, quality materials. The bar lounge was comfortable and the service was excellent by Rick. The breakfast far exceeded our expectations with a cook who made omletes to order. Most surprising was the quality and strength of the coffee. These type hotels usually have weak lousy coffee. It must be from a local roaster or just made stronger. Fresh fruit was great.

The barista wasn’t available in the morning to make espresso drinks. There is an expensive espresso maker so why not use it and make money in the morning breakfast time.

I loved that there was a complimentary drink and appetizer. I was not expecting that. We ended up ordering more and it was convenient and delicious to have dinner right there at the hotel.

Pretty much every hotel never has enough of each towel when there are more than two people in a room. That was the same here, though towels were brought fairly quickly when we asked, which I appreciated. I just wish that, since it is known how many of us are going to be in the room, that it would be completely ready for that number of guests.

Super clean and large rooms, everything feels new inside, helpful and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast - you get a custom made omelet! Location is just outside Paso downtown, maybe a couple minutes drive. Three EV chargers on the property.

If you drive an EV and are counting on charging here - temper your expectations. While it's great that hotel provides 3 EV chargers, they all are always occupied, sometimes by irresponsible drivers who just leave their cars plugged for several days straight. Another minor thing - there was just one towel hanger in the bathroom, definitely not enough for more than one person :D

Beautiful new hotel. Excellent breakfast. Nice room but a very uncomfortable couch which I believe can be a bed. Great location to access greater Paso Robles and highway to the San Simeon area.

Staff inability to explain why the daily pet fee was so high. $34/day for deep cleaning when you check out. Can’t understand why deep cleaning for two days ($68) is twice as expensive as staying one day. Nice place but won’t stay again unless their pet fees change.
