Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center

The front desk associate was super friendly and helped me out with any questions. Check in was quick and easy. I really liked the security they have through out the hotel, this is the main reason I will be back with my kids. The room was exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable and the showers were clean and showers were pleasant. We attended a show at the arena and I was surprised that it’s literally connected to the hotel. This will be our permanent hotel when we travel out here.

It was a great stay, and my sister and I loved the restaurant's food, especially the good burgers! The room was great, as well as the bathroom amenities. The front desk was professional and welcoming, and we even had a ride by one of the staff to the bus station. Customer service was outstanding.

It was a perfect stay so there's nothing bad to say.

Receptionist at check in was very friendly and informative. Location was next door to the venue we were attending. Room was large and clean. On-site restaurant and bar, but closes at 10pm.

Instructions on how to use key card in elevator would have been helpful. When entering hotel after hours, you must use key card, but we were never told this or given instructions. Pillows were flat and not comfortable.

0did not get breakfast with you

after first nite maid service did not clean room and leave fresh towels. children from room 417 were up before 7 am running up down hall, screaming loud talking and so were the parents talking loudly in hall, waking us up. terrible, experience.

We wanted to be on the top floor (9th), but the 7th floor turned out to be fine. The room was very lovely and clean.

When we walked into the hotel the lobby was horribly noisy with people drinking in the lounge. We decided to get a drink and husbands gin and tonic was great but my Long Island Iced Tea tasted so lemony and bitter it was more like a Lemon Drop. I asked the bartender to add something to make it a little sweet and he added about a teaspoon of simple syrup. I bought a Pepsi at the little market in the lobby and fixed it. Also about 20 young women were coming out of the swimming pool and walking around the lobby in very skimpy bikinis. With their bare bottoms exposed. Ugh. Very low class behavior.

I liked that there was a resturant in the hotel, the pool was accessable and there was a lounge area

Didn't like that there was a generic menu instead of a full menu. And that the generic menu stayed the say with no expecptions.

my favorite place to stay. I love the room sizes & location. Always very clean. I’m very comfortable there.

The main things I’m not too fond of, is the pricing can sometimes be too high, and I do not like the huge gap under the door. you can see, smell and hear everything because of it.

The staff are exceptionally warm and friendly. The room is quiet, clean and comfortable. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent (salad with sweet walnuts, greens, chicken, dried cranberries and goat cheese.) The restaurant staff were also above and beyond. Had a nice swim in the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Bed could have been a little more comfortable and the alarm was set in my room and went off at 6 AM

had problem with the breakfast, we booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, booking confirmed breakfast included, after breakfast they asked to pay for 2 kid in addition, but finally we figured out. rooms need renovation for sure.

I used Starbucks in the lobby for breakfast. It was great!

I loved the omelet and fries for dinner. But it was delicious but huge. I wish they had a smaller selection for dinner. The fries were flavorful! I'm sorry but I only ate the peaches out of the peach cobbler dessert because the dough seemed too ... gooey.
