The location, the price and the staff are great. I arrived late but the friendly and helpful staff waited to let me in. The Old Court is in the centre of Witney, so everything is easily accessible.

The Old Court Hotel is a historic building, so the layout and size is as you would expect. The restaurant looks great, but the room I stayed (cheapest) in was looking a little tired. However, the bed was comfortable, the shower/bathroom all worked well. Also parking can be difficult depending how full the restaurant is and what time you get there.

Great location, nice room, small but had all you needed. Bed was comfy. There is parking, there is a bar and restaurant. Wifi worked well, the room was refreshed. It does what it says on the tin, offers bed and breakfast in a prime and central location in a character property. I didn't have breakfast or use the bar so cannot comment on this side.

The room is compact, you would struggle to navigate with more than one person in there at a time. Decor was a little tired but perfectly adequate. There is parking but its not the easiest to get out of BUT parking is a plus so this is not really a moan, just an observation. The shower was equally compact but again it all functioned so you cannot really take away from it. The walls are not very well insulated as music could be heard quite clearly on the first night till after 10pm.

staff very polite helpful & friendly period property with original features very cool temperature in room ! Bed was amazingly comfortable!!! bed linen fresh & clean as it should be -

lovely period building, but feel the restaurant could do with a bit of freshening up - it looks a bit ‘tired’ painting it will make it look brighter and more inviting - maybe some soft easy listening music playing quietly in background would enhance the atmosphere. Not sure the artificial flowers go with the period building so much more could be made of it - charity shops are filled with chic objects to add to the decor which would really embrace this lovely building .

There was a choice of breakfast despite the website only stating continental was included. We could of had a full English if desired but went for poached egg and scrambled egg on toast. The staff and owner were very kind and friendly. The room was facing the main road but the sash windows had an extra layer of double glazing on the inside which muffled the noise considerably. The mattress on the four poster bed was super comfy and we could do with one like that at home.

The entrance to the car park is on a mini roundabout on a blind bend. Can be awkward timing your exit correctly with traffic coming at you from three different directions, but nothing too serious.

All staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room and en-suite were clean and tidy, although fairly basic. The breakfast room was lovely and the food served was great - we had plenty of choice as vegetarians.

The room we had could benefit from some renovation, especially in the shower cubicle, although it was immaculately clean. There were also a few extras that would make life easier, such as a towel rail, and storage space in the cubicle and by the handbasin.

Very welcoming staff and convenient location with parking. Really nice breakfast served really quickly and good standard. Definitely use again if I’m in the area.

The room was ‘cosy’ but functional for the price. Personally, I don’t like metal framed beds that creak when you move and the fact the bed had an upstand at the foot made it awkward getting around it.

Great location, Decent value - I chose it because it was significantly cheaper than the Cowley Premier Inn. Friendly staff. Characterful.

Breakfast was fairly basic - no mustard with the bacon sandwich, no fruit on offer. But it was good to have the choice of a bacon sandwich. The shower opened straight onto the bedroom carpet, so the mat was important to keep it dry - in most hotels that door would open onto a bathroom type floor. No shaver point.

Short walk to town center. I liked there was a bar & restaurant The hotel is full of character as used to be an old court house

Check out was at 11am, I have stayed in other hotels that offer 12pm checkout & as it was a sunny beautiful day we left early anyway so it didn’t matter this time The room was dark with low lighting wall lights so I opened the door to flood with sunlight to do my make up so I had a solution

The owner here is amazing. He is fun, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Takes the time chat about your day and is interested in your stay in the area. The bar and restaurant areas were very clean, and the food was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of breakfast menu choices with no long waits for hot food.

The facilites within the room are very minimal and basic. Its not a room you would want to spend the day in relaxing. Only beds to sit on, no room for a chair, and no table to put any drinks in even though there were ample tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very dated and there was paint on the floor where it had flaked off the skirting boards. Very small tv, not much bigger than a laptop screen.

Good, central location in the pleasant market town of Witney. The Old Court Hotel is an old, characterful building - you can imagine the stage coaches coming in to the yard. The window from our room looked out over the yard, and the rooftops of the nearby cottages. Very evocative. Comfy beds, warm, clean and quiet. Great night´s sleep. Good selection of cooked breakfast, and good coffee.

The triple room was a little cramped, but fine for 2 nights.
