The Tides Inn0

Location excellent, a stone's throw from the seafront, literally! Room was ok, double bed, small put you up for my granddaughter, seating area by bay window with the view of the seafront. Ensuite bathroom ok. Stair climb to rooms ok. Separate door to accomodation so you didn't have to go through pub each time. Staff froze our icepacks for our cooler box for our journey home Great value for money.

Put you up had a slat missing but granddaughter slept ok on it and landlord did ask as we left if there had been a problem with it at all ( they had given us an extra smaller mattress pad to go over the gap) Noise from street, not too bad for a Friday and Saturday night in Weymouth to be honest although the motorbikes and boy racers do seem to like that part of the highway! The decor is a little tired but again, old pub and there is a refurbishment in the plans. Did not stop us enjoying the weekend!

A stones through from the beach, clean bedding and facilities, plenty of tea and coffee, good value for money. Convenience store next door. Three toilets easily accessible from your room. Shower & sink in your room.

Found a space at the pavilion car park each day which is £10 in the summer 8am-6pm then free 6pm- 8am so can keep car overnight, just a bit of a trek though as you can't park in the train station unless you using the trains for travel. Other road parking was short stay such as an hour or two. But we would do it all again and with being on the sea front we didn't expect easy parking.

Fantastic central location and two mins to the beach. Not as noisy from the pub as I expected as the rooms are two floors above. Clean sheets and fluffy towels, comfortable beds, own shower, good value, coffee and biscuits, and helpful and kind staff :)

TV is tricky to use. Check the aerial is in, and use Source to set to D(digital)TV. Shared toilets are a pain but not a dealbreaker. There’s noise from a generator outside that can be annoying at night for sensitive sleepers.

Great location , very close to station .. Clean , generous tea n coffee supplies . Good local pub , very charachtoristic ...footy , karaoke & good prices !

Some incompetence at checking in ...was directed to a room but given wrong keys , then when sorted, it was an already occupied room! . Ok in end , fortunately nobody was in the room at the time but still a security breech for the other guest ( whoever they were) I'm fit and ok with running up several flights several times , it would have been bad for the less able The host was trying to run the bar at the time too , so room for error ( no pun intended !)

I liked the fact that I could sit at the bay window and watch the sea It was so close to the beach and the shops and pubs

All and all it was a good stay so close to all restaurant and take aways,staff couldn’t really do enough for you once you shut the window I couldn’t hear anything that was going on out side or room the main pub we were above

Located near Station and near centre. En-suite was great. Bed was comfortable. Staff helpful.

Only problem was a lot of stairs but my disabled husband managed to climb them slowly, He can’t wait to go back so not too much of a draw back at the moment. Also music from the pub was a bit noisy at times but was quiet once pub closed.

Room was very clean. Very reasonably priced. All staff including owner were helpful and friendly. Location to town facilities was spot on.

No en suite. Toilets down the corridor, but we knew that when we booked, and having no en suite was reflected in the price, so we were OK with it.

Going to a new place we had never been before was daunting. However the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. Home from home. They were friendly and inviting. Very accommodating and helpful. The room was immaculate, you could smell it had been cleaned but it wasn't an over powering smell. The beds were really comfy and warm. We did ask for the heating to be put on as it did get a bit cold and they did just that with no issues. Our stay was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to go and see them again. Thank you for everything, you made our stay phenomenal. We will look forward to seeing you again.

Nothing we didn't like

Location is perfect, very near to railway station, beach is at walking distance, town center was hardly half mile away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, I felt very welcome here.kid friendly place, my daughter loved it. Additional bed for the kid was already there. Liked the cleanliness. View from the window was just awesome.overall good value for money. Very satisfying stay of over two days.

Nothing in particular, everything was fine. May be breakfast facility would have been better. Also, sometime s chattering from pub down below was disturbing sleep. But nothing much.

The hosts were all excellent and made our trip much less stressful and more enjoyable as they looked after our bags for us and let us check our bags in early too. The room was well equipped and very clean, endless supply of yorkshire tea and milk provided :D

Another guest put dog poos in the communal loo so that was smelly in the heat, other than that shared loos is not a problem.
