Hotel was fiine, rooms were large and comfortable.

The food was extremely poor. Checked the menu on website before booking but on arrival at the hotel found that there was a very limited menu and a vastly reduced choice of food. Every meal could habe been cooked in a microwave and was extremely poor quality. Breakfast was probably the worst I have ever had in any hotel. Tiny plates, no fried eggs ( powdered scrambled eggs only ) bacon and sausages cold. Good choice of cereal etc. but hot food was not good. Hotel itself was very good and the staff were excellent but get the feeling they didn't have a chef and anybody at all could have made the meals with a microwave.

Breakfast is good, good selection on offer and even have soya milk if you ask the staff. The space of the rooms are good, the cleanliness, the bathrooms are nice, the windows are good soundproof considering next to motorway, but you do hear the odd big boar exhaust. Comfy beds.

The air con heating system is smelly, so you have a choice of cold room or smelly stuffy room. They are not all as bad, but ours was. My daughter's room's heater was ok. Ours didn't seem to warm the room up and looked like it needed a good servicing and a clean. So we left it off. Vegetarian sausages were not very nice. Pillows are a bit lumpy.

We stay every month, perfect location for getting into Birmingham in the morning, fantastic staff, this time the room was absolutely perfect! Thank you 37 ground floor and a giant bush that blocked out the sound of the tour busses and their sing song!! No loud noisy traipsing of tour bus clients up and down all night Would love this room in the future if possible :-) Staff are always amazing friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was chaos but all 3 bus tours wanted breakfast at the same time and we're queuing up before breakfast started, getting any food even at 7m15 was interesting, expecially as a short person stuck in a crowd of tall coughing sneezing grabby humans lol. Unfortunately we need to be in Birmingham by 8am, it's unusual for all 3 busses to descend on breakfast at once and the breakfast usually keeps us going all day. Absolutely no fault of the hotel, would be perfect if we could have pre arranged to just grab some pastries in a bag and bolt out the door lol it is what is is :-) * not a negative just a FYI shower cubicle in 37 corner next to toilet is leaking a little/ bit of rot and probably needs resealed ahain :-)

I liked everything staff were so friendly my 3 year old niece loved all the staff and was happy to say hi to them, which to me says alot as she is really shy around new people. Rool was a nice size and clean. Breakfast was fantastic a nice range which was great for my niece she has the cooked breakfast and cereal. Staff were helpful when asked for certain places, they were happy to talk and direct us, and help out where needed

I didn't find anything that I didn't like, it was unfortunate we both became unwell and left a day early, but would definitely go back again. I couldn't fault the staff they were brilliant.

Staff, as always were lovely, polite and efficient, especially at reception. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only small quibble that I had was the lack of tea / coffee / milk. There is usually more. I would have gone to reception for more but I was tired and I was dressed for bed. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with fresh and tasty hot and cold food and drinks. Again, the staff were great. They were helpful and were clearing and cleaning tables efficiently. The parking is free and plentiful. I often stay here as a half way stop over from north Lancashire to Southampton and it never disappoints.

Nothing really!

Such friendly and caring staff from the moment I arrived to the second I left.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic with everyone going about the same time I think on Sunday morning but Monday morning was fine. The accessible room isn’t as accessible as you’d expect for a wheelchair, for eg there’s a little lip in to the bathroom that a wheelchair user would get stuck on and possibly tip out of the chair. The shower had a mind of its own, you turned it on and the shower head rotated to the left which the force from the water pushed the shower curtain and the whole bathroom floor was soaked so had to use spare towels as to not slip. The seat in the shower comes off of the frame very easily which was a shock when all I did was put the seat down.

I did enjoy the comfort of the room. It was nice and quiet considering the location is near a motorway, the windows are quite good and dampening the noise outside. The beds are comfortable, and room service was good. Meals are lovely and well priced. The chef was very accommodating for special dietary requirements.

Just 2 qualms. 1 was that there isn't a fridge for those staying longer than a weekend and the other was a lady called Kate, who was the Duty person would switch between being rude and sour faced and then being helpful. You just didn't know how to take her. I also observed her attitude towards Jordan on staff, which came across as bullying. Jordan was lovely and so were the other members of staff.

Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, particularly the two gentlemen on reception when we had problems with our door lock. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, even croissants - which usually are not replenished very often at this brand of hotel. Holiday Inn Express Walsall was the exception, staff at breakfast were brilliant. We stayed for 3 nights and felt very "at home" in this hotel.

The roadworks outside the hotel, obviously not the fault of the hotel.

Location is good just getting off motorway not hard to find the hotel. Lots of parking spaces. Town centre not far,few local eating shops nearby.

Was not happy with the TV not upto date one as I am hard of hearing with hearing aids I usually watch TV with subtitles unfortunately I could not watch TV as didnt have subtitles system. I have stayed here before and I did bring it up at reception.Tvs need to be updated to cater for disabled people.with this system. Breakfast not good variety for vegetarians/vegans.Could have done with like hashbrowns mushrooms and tomatoes etc. Was no notice to say vegetarian sausages can be ordered until I asked. Should be made aware of this when either booking or a notice in rooms. There was no wardrobe in room, lighting could be a bit brighter.

Jordan, the receptionist was so very helpful on arrival; both they and their colleague(sorry - didn't get his name) were very positive and bright - I felt really welcomed and valued.

Travellers had arrived on the car park and their presence made me feel unsafe, both personally and for the safety of my vehicle. The reception team reassured me of the site's CCTV and staff surveillance both on arrival and on my return to the hotel later that evening, again being very bright and positive.
