Days Inn Tewkesbury

I had the best shower ever, nice big double bed, the Asian young lady with glasses in reception was amazing such a lovely polite kind friendly member of staff who really welcomes the public with an amazing smile on her face. The tea and coffee were lovely. The towels were amazing and it has a great hairdryer.

£69 a night was not the greatest price it would be better if it was £50 to £55 as £69 is a bit pricey. The bath was big which is positive however there was a rusty patch on the bath near the back which is a bit old with a few hairs on it so maybe the cleaner forgot to clean that bit so improvements needed to be solved in future.

We have a caravan in Tewksbury that was in flood water so we had to sort it out and rescue our property. The hotel was close enough that we could go back and forth easily. The fact that our two Greyhounds were welcome was the deciding factor when choosing where to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

As others have said, the rooms are dated and in need of some work. Our tv didn’t work due to no signal, again as others have complained about. It wasn’t a problem to us as we don’t watch tv so we didn’t bother to complain.

On arrival we were asked if we needed to travel southbound (we did) and were given a very helpful map with a clear explanation of how to follow it. We were then asked where exactly we were travelling to for our event - and shown on Google maps the best way to get there. This was quite superb service and way beyond our expectations. The room itself was better equipped than other 'lodge' chains, we particularly appreciated having a sofa and coffee table which made the room feel more like home.

Nothing - everything was good.

Friendly welcome, easy check-in, free overnight parking. It is a motorway hotel, I review keeping that in mind. The room was clean, of a decent size and the bed was very comfy. The sheets and towels were very clean. If you book through their website it offers very good value for money. I booked through booking.com and I paid over twice what the hotel charges. Check-out was super smooth, the lady who checked us out was extremely helpful and offered lots of advice and recommendations, such as leaving the hotel going south without having to go on the motorway!

My only gripe is with the bathroom. The extractor fan was faulty, it was noisy and hardly worked at all resulting in a very humid bathroom. The hot tap at the sink couldn't be turned off properly and dripped constantly.

spacious room as had our 2 dogs with us, comfy large new? bed and large new? sofa dogs now have their own loyalty cards so after 5 visits, 6th free! dog treats and water bowls in reception for them great value being charged £10 per night each, as another hotel we stayed at charged £35 per night each!

all good! fyi Not D.Inn's fault, but no retailers or food outlets (Chosun noodles, Mcdonalds, Pasty Co) sold alcohol as this D.I situated at Strensham services on the M5. We arrived late, so too tired to drive into Tewkesbury, for restaurants, pubs etc as approx 15 mins away on m'way.

Really cheap and right on the motorway in the services so great to break a journey. We popped next door to services for breakfast. Despite the cheap price there was still everything you’d ex pop etc eg tea and coffee, TV, shampoo etc. a comfy stay!

Not the hotel’s fault but because it was by the motorway you could hear the hum of traffic. I quite liked it but not everyone would.

Maksim was very helpful. He sorted out my mistake of double booking in time. He had prepared a room warm. However i could nt do the stairs, he found another room on the ground floor, he replaced the old shabby kettle for a brand new one. He couldnt be more helpful.

It was excellent.

Several eating facilities were closed early, and evening eating was basically restricted to McDonalds. Lots of litter around the exterior site and rubbish bins full. The road markings on the site from the motorway exit slip were VERY poor, and mostly faded. Construction works outside the Hotel, made it difficult to head for the Hotel whilst keeping to the marked traffic flow ( very poor) of a “one way” system.

A really convenient place to stopover. We slept well in really comfortable bed and in peace and quiet (which was better than expected for me, given location on the M5. Room was clean and had all you need. 24 hour services shops/ fast food options directly next door also very handy.

There's not really anything to dislike for one night stopover that's so convenient

Didn’t have breakfast very handy from m5 few little issues with the room nothing major quickly sorted a bit noisy Friday morning but they do have reps & tradesmen staying there very quiet Saturday morning you’ve got everything you want at the services also a service road you can use to get to Tewksbury etc

Rooms a little dated but all in all pricing good my dog loved it
