Room was spotless bed was fabulous staff were very friendly and the food was great. They certainly fulfilled our expectations, we were there for cricket finals and running late back for dinner, knowing kitchen closed at 9pm we called saying we’ll be there 8-50 can they put something aside, when we got there the chef said he preferred to wait and cook fresh and hot, amazing, we thought sandwich crisps would do but had gorgeous burger and fish chips, lovely. Great car park very nice outdoor seating, quiet location, we were very happy and would certainly stay again even if we were in another part of Somerset as last 20 years we’ve booked and stayed in some pretty dire places. The owner showed us to our room very much personal touches all round. A very affordable worthwhile stay. A bonus was internet wasn’t great so it was lovely seeing everyone talking to one another instead of being on their phones. There is WiFi but not super fast and for us that was great. Thank you oh and bonus England won the cricket

Everything was great

It is a lovely old pub on a pretty quiet road. The bar and eating areas are lovely and spotlessly clean with good outdoor areas. The bedroom we had was spacious, the bed comfortable and again well kept. The food was absolutely excellent including traditional pub fare as well as vegetarian and other choices. Breakfast was first class too. Plenty of parking.

Nothing we didn’t like but, like every pub we have stayed in recently, the room was pretty hot. There was large fan and the windows could open so it was not unbearable ( like some) but a portable actual cooling device would have made a big difference.

Excellent country pub. Great old building plenty of parking. Bar had vast choice of drinks and staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious with a modern bathroom with bath and shower. The bed was very comfortable and I had an excellent sleep. Food in the bar was really good. I had the pork which was cooked perfectly. Again the staff were excellent. Unfortunately we had to leave early so missed breakfast but if the dinner was anything to go by I'm sure it would have been good. Only small issue was intermittent WiFi. On whole though excellent stay and I certainly would return.

WiFi. Was very intermittent.

Staff were exceptional both friendly and very helpful, the rooms were very clean and the food was excellent, the service was good with no wait times. The location is great for the local area, great carpark and beer garden.

Beds were a bit soft for my liking but I am sure would suit others, the room was very warm although once you opened the window it was fine although the downside of this as we were in a room on the roadside you do get traffic noise early in the morning although it is deathly quiet during the night

We stayed prior to a flight from Bristol airport. The pub is a lovely country pub about an hour from Bristol airport which was ideal. Breakfast was at 8am which was a little tight time wise but the chef came in a bit early so that we could have breakfast dead on 8am which was really helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and in the part away from the pub, very quiet. The bed was comfortable and shower good. The pub is a really well kept country pub with good menu and very good ale. All the staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was very poor combined with pretty much no signal as you are in a dip. The Wi-Fi is being sorted soon though.

The Greyhound Inn is a charming, traditional Inn. It has been refurbished by the present owners, sensitively, improved , but without minimalism that would have robbed it of it’s character. The breakfast was good, with reasonable choice, and the evening meals were reasonably priced and filling. There is a generous sized car park, and an attractive outside sitting area. Our bedroom was a good size with a good shower and bath, with plenty of thoughtful extras.

Nothing really. The narrow lanes that ‘fanned’ out from the village were twisting and frankly, not for the ‘faint hearted’. I’m sure locals would know ways of avoiding some of them to gain access to the major roads.

Charming property, wonderful staff. Large rooms, nice bathroom, immaculately clean and well prepared. Very quiet at night for a good night's sleep. I took all my meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast, all good. My friends tell me they serve excellent beer but I don't drink! Not difficult to find and plenty of parking. Good value.

There is a heatwave at the moment so I would have preferred if there was air conditioning but hey, it's a country pub so maybe an unfair suggestion.

1. Great Location, very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. A nice place to take your family and friends for food and some drinks and to visit the top surrounding tourist locations in the area. 2. Rooms were really clean. 3. Staff were friendly and inviting. 4. Breakfast was great.

1. The rooms are not soundproof as stated on Booking.com. 2. The Greyhound Wifi Signal was not that great in the room. You can't use your own data in your room as there is no signal (Deadspot) 3. No bath for small children.

We stopped over at The Greyhound on our way to St Ives. The room was just right for us. Very clean, comfortable bed and just outside the main pub building. We had dinner at The Greyhound on Sunday evening and it was delicious! The roast beef is probably the best we have ever had. Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, with a wide range of choices. We will definitely be staying here again!

Food at breakfast very good, evening meal good also, excellent soups for starters. Good choice of liquid refreshments although the price of the Moretti lager a bit steep compared to prices nearer home. Staff all friendly and professional, a special mention to Lee (hope I spelt her name right!) a very helpful and jolly lady serving breakfast.

A few chairs in the garden seating area as well as the benches. These are not very good for a bad back!
