Lovely room and excellent location. The decor and comfort were second to none. The staff were friendly and attentive. The homemade cakes left for us were a lovely surprise and nice touch. I would recommend. staying here if you wanted a quiet,, comfortable base for exploring the area. Loved the canal close by, the ducks were fab and being on a working farm added to the experience. Plus being dog friendly was a huge bonus, we felt comfortable with our dog being with us here.

A TV in the room would have been good. Breakfast was okay but I think because we were the only ones there the full array wasn't in stock. The staff member who served us was lovely and done a great job with what she had. I think if we had been there at the weekend it may have been a wee bit better.

lovely setting, calm, quiet and with an easy check in. Welcoming of our dog, and very clean. we used the venue for some mountain biking near by and it was very accesible. walk to the local pubs was easy, go out the front. turn left, canal path. turn left and keep going till you find a pub!

the room we stayed in had some poor ventilation (its an old barn!) and the window had very restricted opening. it got very stuffy despite the fan. this clearly only applies to the room we had and not all the rooms

The location was fantastic, in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the towns/cities that surround it. Facilities and aesthetic of the barn and rooms to book were phenomenal. Beautiful destination following our rustic themed wedding.

Although everything greatly exceeded our expectations, the only drawback we could identify would be the limited amount of bath soak and shampoo in the bathroom for us to. Having had a long day for our wedding, it would have been ideal to enjoy a bath.

This is a really nice barn conversion with plenty original feature, just for rooms with private door to cafe which opens early for quests only. Nicely furnished with comfortable bed and great en-suite. Contact-less throughout so pay attention to key code instructions.

The smallest LED green light illuminates the room sufficient to read and is really annoying. Apparently there for safety but I think there must be a mix up or misinterpretation of the regs. Having stayed in well over 100 hotels & B&B and being in construction I have never come across this in a private room, public areas yes always. Shame because the prime function of the room is to get a good nights sleep. I also don't agree with the rooms being charged at the same rate, one of ours was much larger than the other.

I had an early start on Sunday morning to compete in a motorsport event, so they provided a really lovely take-away package.

I had brought my sports car on a small trailer but had to uncouple it and park side by side with the car outside the accommodation. I was concerned that the noise recoupling etc would wake other guests about 7am on a Sunday morning. If it had been possible to park elsewhere on the farm and leave coupled that would have been better. The other consideration is that the property is bounded by a river with two very narrow and steep single lane bridges either side, however i got the trailer round ok as it is small.

Tuppenhurst is extremely well finished and decorated, top line fittings and is a really smart place to stay. The staff we met, and on the phone, were really polite, respectful and charming. We were well looked after. Breakfast was tasty (baguette rolls, croissants) with good coffee.

The place is a little overheated - some economies can be made without detracting from the comfort of the building or bedroom. We stayed in a very warm room with the radiator off, and managed with an open window. Scrambled eggs seemed to be on offer for the 'doggy breakfast', but not available for anyone else. I wonder if we could be allowed?

Excellent breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff. The added little touches like free cake, bottled water and a fan in the room were much appreciated. Extremely dog friendly and a really good location, just 30 seconds walk from the canal. The café is also great!

One that wasn’t your fault; it was too hot this week and getting cool was a challenge. One suggestion; put in a small pedestrian gate. The noise from the opening gate every time someone went out to let their dog pee (including at 5am!) was a little annoying. You did ask!

Excellent location for us. Having fresh milk for tea in the morning. The complimentary cakes were a nice idea, but they had all gone when we arrived the first evening. Had some on the second day and they were great.

The room was really hot and stuffy despite there being a fan. On our second night the tea / coffee was not replenished, so we only had one tea bag for the morning.

The setting is beautiful, the rooms have been renovated to a very high standard. There was really good communication as it was a contactless check in

Our room was upstairs and was very hot (not the owners fault), there is a fan in the room but very noisy so didn't sleep very well. I would still definitely return though.

Tuppenhurst was an absolutely gorgeous B&B! Everything was so beautifully decorated with really good quality furniture/carpets, and it was absolutely spotless all throughout the barn. The staff were really lovely, and made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived, to the moment we checked out. Originally we were a bit disappointed that they didn't offer a full breakfast, but after the sausage/bacon baguettes, that's all I want now! They're honestly amazing! Such a gorgeous location, and we will 100% be back if we're in the area :)
