Lovely room, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The view out over the patio and pond was lovely. A very comfortable bed. The tea tray was replenished daily and the room was also cleaned. The shower was really powerful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking. Nice walks around the hotel, and plenty to do in the area.

The grout in the bathroom and the bathroom ceiling were mouldy. The towels were rather tatty. It let down what was otherwise a fantastic room and a luxurious place to stay. It would’ve been nice to have an information pack.

Beautiful historic hotel, well preserved. Each room is charming and respectfully decorated while still having modern amenities. Huge amazing bath in mine as well as a little window seat. Each room is charming and respectfully decorated while still having modern amenities. Huge amazing bath in mine as well as a little window seat.

Window seat upholstery was torn. The bath was lovely, but there were no operating instructions on the Jacuzzi jets. (I’ve never stayed anywhere with a Jacuzzi bath!) I didn’t use them because I wasn’t sure how they operated, but they came on intermittently of their own accord as the bath was draining and I couldn’t turn them off. After a few cycles they eventually stopped.

The room was lovely and beautifully furnished. It was nice and cosy once we worked out how to turn the heat up. There was only 1 chair (which was comfy) which meant one of us had to sit on the bed. This was fine though as there were cushions as well as pillows on the bed. The bathroom was wonderfully furnished, spacious and clean. Best shower EVER! Really good warm blast of water. Person or recption was very helpful and friendly.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. There was no one on reception on arrival and they didn't come when we rang the bell. Eventually the receptionist arrived and booked us in.

The hotel was beautiful, very historic, the staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was lovely , will definitely stay again but will ask for a different room next time

The mattress on the bed was terrible, you could feel the springs and it didn't matter what side you slept on you felt like you were going to roll out of bed sleeping in the middle of the bed felt like you were sleeping on a mound, didn't sleep a wink

Gorgeous setting, lovely staff and room. Loved the quirky features like the wonky floor, the massive bay window with seating, big bed, pretty chandelier. The ceiling beams, the bathroom had a massive jacuzzi bath, shower etc which we didn't expect. We would definitely stay again. The staff will lovely too. The grounds were lovely and it was lovely and quiet. It was a hot day and there was a fan provided which was great as many hotels don't provide one

We loved the room except for the amount of dust we appreciate its an old building. There was dust on top of wardrobe, mirror, pictures and the metal posts on bed not just a little bit it was thick in dust. This let it down a little bit the bedding though was spotless, the bed was comfortable even though I had to climb to get on too it (I'm tiny) the other problem was the shower tray filled of water whilst having a shower so you were kinda paddling. Other than that perfect. Would stay again

Dunsley Hall is a lovely old style Manor House, with a rich history retaining many of it’s original features with items of period furniture and numerous artefacts giving it a very traditional ambiance. The room was spacious and bright with comfy beds, and well serviced with water, tea and coffee station.

There was only a Continental breakfast available in the hotel from 7am-8am (obviously suitable for business travellers), although there was a separate facility across the courtyard at Harley’s where breakfast could be purchased at reasonable cost.

Lovely room with the surprise of a jacuzzii bath . Very comfortable bed and we slept well. Breakfast was not in the hotel but in an adjourning complex belonging to the hotel. A little awkward if the weather was bad. Breakfast was very good and we opted for a small Full English and could not have managed a larger. Very pleasant staff . Very disappointed to hear it was up for sale and might be modernised as it had all the charm that an old building should have.

Nothing.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved the period architecture and the very comfortable common areas.

I would have liked to be able to buy a drink to enjoy in the lovely sitting rooms but there was no bar or catering in the main hotel. The was a bar and restaurant nextdoor, but nowhere near the sumptuous period ambience of the hotel. I had to go offsite to charge my electric car so ended up at the local competition where they had a fast charger.

A charming listed property, steeped in character and both decorated and furnished accordingly. We stayed in the delightful Rose Room. Had the best night’s sleep in ages and I’m a chronic Insomniac! Room was warm and clean. Guess if I wanted to be really picky, could suggest a larger telly but I was happy to snuggle into the bed and read my book. Shower awesome!

Nothing!

Beautiful room. I have stayed here on several occasions and every room at the Dunsley Hall Hotel has character and charm. There was a small problem with one curtain where the fixings had failed but this didn't affect my stay very much. The bed was very large and super comfortable and I had a great evening and night.

The toiletries in the bathroom were very limited (just a shampoo/conditioner, no soap at all)
