Very good peaceful location but also near a main road with plenty of buses into town.

Unfortunately, when we returned from a day out at the cricket test match we found that our room hadn’t been cleaned or the bed made and no replenishment of tea, coffee, milk etc. Also, there were no glasses in the room to use for water at night.

I booked a single room but the bed was more of a double than a single and so comfortable I accidentally fell asleep on it. The breakfast was great and the views over the water really welcome after all my urban driving. The receptionist and staff were friendly and informative but not intrusive. The car parking was plentiful and very convenient for the hotel. Lots of towels, biscuits, tea and toiletries. I was visiting my daughter at the uni and it`s pretty much within the Jubilee Campus.

The standard of the ceiling could`ve been improved but I`m really trying to find a negative here. Prices seem to vary a lot depending on when you want to visit.

Great location, lovely staff, easy parking, safe on the university complex to go for a quick run in the evening. Always had a good room. Internet always good. Bar and food available if you don’t want to walk 5 mins to the pub or takeaways!

Toiletries in the room minimalist to say the least! Had to return a meal in the Spokes Cafe but the staff were hugely apologetic and helpful about it so can’t complain. As an aside, Nottingham seems to have a shortage of hotel rooms at the moment and the last couple of times the whole city has been fully booked or over £175 a night which is ludicrously expensive compared to last year.

The room was quite big. Clean decent facilities. I don't actually use all of them but there was tea/coffee facilities, iron TV. Some USB ports. etc.. Things like this are now standard nowadays but still good to have them

At breakfast.. Being a solo traveler I was a little annoyed that everytime I left my table to go and get something else to eat/drink my table was cleared of everything? I appreciate the need to clean things up but I had perfectly good drinks I was drinking taken away. I couldn't even have a coffee with my cooked breakfast because they had taken away the coffee I was going to drink while I ate. This was quite annoying

The staff were great and the location is fantastic. Parking is always so stress free. I also loved all the wildlife in the pond. The viewing areas are so nice. I also like the filtered water fountain in the lobby. During the day we could keep the room's courtyard door open and the room had a wonderful breeze.

It was warm and the only opening to the room was a huge door leading to an open courtyard with other rooms (no windows). At night, we did not feel secure leaving the door open to get a fresh breeze . There was a fan but it was a bit noisy. We didnt use it until 2am or we would have reported it to the front desk. I know had we found it earlier they would have replaced it immediately.

My daughter is at Uni there so excellent location, very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice stylish hotel for the price charged and good sized room and bathroom with bath and over shower. Liked having ironing board and iron, lots of charging points, tea and coffee. Friendly, welcoming staff, happy to give more milks, and decaff coffee on request. Lots of free parking. Would definitely stay again and enjoyed the lake views and all the wildlife.

The fruit salad had not been replenished when we had breakfast so just a few pieces of thin melon and pineapple left (fruit salad is my favourite at breakfast) and no croissants or pastries (we came for breakfast about 9:40 so towards the end of breakfast which finished at 10:30). However fresh bananas and apples so I just made my own. We like 2 milks in our tea and coffee and had to ask for more for the evening and morning as only 4 left in the room - perhaps 8 might be better for a couple staying. Also no decaff tea available (good selection of other teas though).

Our family room was spacious, clean and with lovely added benefits like robes, slippers and a Nespresso machine for a great coffee. The view of the lake was so lovely! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating!

Sadly the sofa bed wasn’t made up, but this wasn’t a problem someone came and rectified this straightaway. The rooms facing the lake can be noisy because of the Geese, however we were warned of this as they are fed every morning - this wasn’t a problem for us!

Location. Close to QMC. Setting on lakeside very good for spending time watching fish and birds, while having a coffee or breakfast. Reception Staff were very attentive Twin room was a decent size

Evening meal selection was very limited. But ordering food in was allowed- handy if you don’t feel like going out. The tap in room was awful- same mechanism controlled flow and temperature, which wasn’t practical. Bath tap didn’t work. I filled bath via shower head! Staff in restaurant were not always polite.

Great location! Super close to city centre, not far from shops or pubs/restaurants either. Parking is included in price too& car park is right in front of hotel. The staff are super friendly& the location of the hotel is really pretty with the surrounding water& fields. Also the TVs are very big& connect to bluetooth so you can play music. Bathrooms very nice& the beds are super comfortable. Great stay!

Rooms aren’t as big as the picture but still really nice, sadly no fridge included and bins are tiny. The heating in the room is weird because its either quite hot or quite cold. We extended our check out and staff were told but the housekeeping still knocked on twice, once when we were still asleep which was awkward as the person who knocked on started coming in as they didn’t hear a response straight away to their knocking and the second time was kind of annoying as had already discussed with previous staff member that our check out was extended. Overall this wasn’t anything major to be honest& we would deffo stay again. :)

Really good location for visiting son at uni, free easy and safe parking and easy walk to city centre or very quick taxi. Hotel felt very spacious. Breakfast was great. Really nice selection of everything.

No continental cold meats at breakfast as was listed on menu. Pillows were quite big/puffy and a bit uncomfortable. There was no instruction or offer to use fitness suite which we may have liked to use. Room and bathroom were very clean, but there was an old wrapped pastry in corner of room behind the curtain - easily missed!
