Easy parking, good sized room and bathroom, both of which were clean. Comfortable for the price. Location is easy driving distance to a lot, but difficult if you didn’t have a car. We ate at the adjoined pub twice, both meals were decent.

When we checked in (on a Saturday), we were told we wouldn’t have to book for dinner that night, or breakfast, as were were only a couple. When we arrived that night at 7:30pm, the restaurant was half empty but we were turned away (by a different employee) as they wouldn’t be able to serve us for at least an hour because of two large tables. A slight miscommunication, we would have booked or eaten earlier if they’d told us at check in that it was necessary. Also find it hard to believe they can’t efficiently service a half full pub because of a large table. Just something to be aware of if you stay over the weekend, Sunday lunch and Monday breakfast were both fine.

Breakfast and evening meal were both of a good standard and reasonably priced. The staff were quite stretched but provided efficient and friendly service The linen and towels were exceptionally clean, as was the bathroom. The security system for getting in was good, and the room was very quiet, so we got a good night's sleep each night. The room was comfortable and functional.

Some of the walls would benefit from repainting as they had suffered some marking from previous customers. There was some 'mess' on a sofa which was easily cleaned up with a tissue, but did not give a very good first impression.

Good choice for breakfast more than generous portion size, food choice in general is very very good. Staff were very friendly, location to cricket ground was good. Bed in hotel room was very comfortable, lots of parking available. We will stay here again if and when we return to watch cricket. (35 min walk to ground or Uber for £6-£7 each way)

Although the room was clean, our room 207 had a lot of brown stains on the carpet floor- looked like make up. We stayed for 3 nights, bedding wasn’t changed or room cleaned (not hoovered) bin in bathroom wasn’t emptied for duration, only towels and toilet roll replenished. There were some splashed/dirt stains on bedroom walls - just needs a deep clean. We were still pleased with the room and our stay. Met our needs.

We Arrived early evening on the Saturday and booked in at the reception area. The gentleman who took our booking was very polite and helped us with our enquires on booking our evening meal and breakfast in the morning. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming especially to our 2 grandchildren that was with me and the wife. Nothing seemed to be any problem. The room we had was very clean and a good size . the breakfast was exceptional with a large choice of food to enjoy. I would really recommend this venue to all my friends and family

There was nothing not to like excellent venue the staff was very friendly and helpful, The rooms are very clean and spacious with good size bathroom with shower

The location is ideal, just on the edge of Nottingham. The room was very clean and tidy with all the usual facilities you would expect. Despite it being a very warm night, the air conditioning and being able to open a window (which seems increasingly to be a rare possibility in many places) made the room very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was reasonably priced and very good. The staff who looked after us were fantastic. Should we ever have cause to need a room in the area again, we'll have no hesitation in returning.

There was nothing to dislike.

the property was clean to a high standard, and well maintained. also has a modern decor to it. I liked how it was pretty secure to get in and out off without the reception desk being open also. the staff in the restaurant were very helpful, me and my partner missed the timings for dinner and they were helpful in suggesting places local, and when we did bring a takeaway back to the hotel we asked for some plates and cutlery to eat it with expecting plastic and they let us borrow china plates and forks from the restaurant- which we thought was very generous and kind. The restaurant itself looked lovely; the food smelt very nice upon walking past, lovely outside seated area also.

there was nothing I didn’t like about the property. the only thing I could say requires improvement would be the signal within the hotel.

There was no soap in the bathroom and the dispenser were tricky. Nothing came out of it. I had my own shower gel so not a problem. BBC1 & BB2 TV did not work. Again no problem as I was out most of the time. The room could do with an easy chair.

Sorry as I have replied the wrong way around! The room was very quiet and spotless. I asked for a room near reception as I was using a crutch. This was granted and very close and easy to the main door. Surprisingly good food with a perfectly cooked and seasoned steak. Excellent and helpful service. A very pleasent manager checked me in. Easy check in. Brilliant parking close to door of hotel. Very easy to find and get to. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The room had everything I needed for my stay, the bed was really comfortable, the staff were really helpful, friendly and welcoming. I requested extra pillows for additional support due to a medical condition and these were provided as requested. Although I didn’t have breakfast during my stay, I did have evening meals. As someone who cannot have cows milk products, I found the staff were diligent in ensuring that no allergens remained in the eating area prior to my going to the table. The online menu with allergen filter was excellent, as was the range of meals available to meet my needs. Thank you for a lovely stay. I look forward to returning soon.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

location for my needs was great , room was very similar to what you would expect from a premier inn and for me anyway was cheaper so bonus . I did not have breakfast on my two night stay however i did have evening meals . Food was good as was the choice and service was spot on . A relaxing experience with no issues

i struggled with the bed , too soft for my back but that was not anything major and something i come across regularly. Sleep was descent despite a bit of tossing and turning . I also had week phone and wifi signal but still was good enough for what i needed which was work emails mainly , not streaming.

Large free car park, easy access to hotel, very quiet clean room, delicious food at the pub, pub team were very polite and friendly.

Temp Road works outside the hotel. Not the hotels fault but might want to mention to residents. I went out for the evening not realising they closed the main road back into the hotel so had a panic late at night when I couldn’t find my way back into the hotel. Thankfully the pub team answered the phone and guided me back - I had to go the opposite way up the closed dual carriageway! Hopefully road works will be gone next time I come to stay 😊
