Delta Hotels by Marriott Aberdeen

The hotel had ample car parking on site(for £5), the exterior looked a little bleak on arrival, but as you walked in you could feel the great ambiance. The family bedroom was spacious and apt with two double beds, the bathroom was clean and well stocked with all the amenities. Breakfast was full Scottish but nothing fancy, they did serve freshly cooked omelettes on request. What stood out and was exceptional, was the customer service, I did not meet a single staff member during our 2 days stay who was not professional and courteous. My 12-year-old was just wowed, by them as we had just ordered his birthday cake, but the staff went ahead and decorated the room with balloons, gifts, and even a personalised birthday card for him. Marriott has just won a future patron for life.

Could add some more variety to the breakfast experience.

I was attending a short course close to Dyce train station, so chose this hotel as it is located conveniently close. Also having stayed at numerous hotels in the vicinity before I knew this one to be the most comfortable, with the rooms being large, well fitted out, exceptionally clean, and comfortable.

This is not the easiest hotel to get to from the airport terminal as the two are located on opposite sides of the airport. It didn’t help that the day I arrived (2 Jan) the trains were on strike, buses were operating a very limited service, and taxis were few and far between. With this in hindsight I would recommend booking a cab in advance to meet you at the airport.

Greeted with a friendly smile by front reception who even came out to assist me with my luggage . We were allocated a downstairs room which was a welcoming relief from all our stopovers the past 22days .We enjoyed a couple of pre dinner drinks in the spacious lounge/dining area . The room was quiet .clean & tidy. Enjoyed breakfast which was in another area from dinner the night prior. Huge area inside & out but everyone so friendly. Lots of parking to choose from - great stay

The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable & very nicely decorated. there’s a lovely seating area by the bar with a fireplace. The staff were welcoming on arrival & everything was splendid. The bathroom in the room was exquisite, with a luxury bathtub & lovely toiletries. We very much enjoyed our stay here & we would highly recommend this hotel!

There was nothing we didn’t like, the only one thing was we could only stream audio from our phones to the tv. it would have been great if we could share the full screen, with visuals as well.

I used this hotel as I was travelling for work and was going to be visiting a nearby office. The hotel is situated close to Dyce train station which makes it easy to reach from Aberdeen which is just one stop away on the train. Don't try using the 727 airport bus from Aberdeen city centre though as this stops on the other side of the airport. My room was spacious, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and well fitted out for the business traveller.

I don't have any negative comments to write here. I didn't use the hotel bar, restaurant, or leisure facilities so can not comment on them. Howeevr one evening I did dine at a nearby restaurant at the Dunavon House Hotel which was excellent.

Very clean. We'll kept hotel. Very professional staff and nice bar/lounge area to relax in. Bar staff are very good and helpful especially staff on shift on 25th Feb.

Didn't like that the pool is not in use. A major selling point for any hotel and also if you have kids it's a great way for everyone to unwind. Covid is finished now so I really do hope the hotel group and hotel management re-open this feature very soon as I think your selling yourself short here.

Reception was friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for the area i was working in. The restaurant waiting staff were 1st rate with prompt service and friendly attitude.

The only negative was the carpark signage. It stated free parking for hotel guests when in fact it was £5 per day. Either remove the signs or honour what's clearly stated.

The staff are excellent at this hotel. There is always a cheery welcome, and the food and beverage staff are super friendly, efficient with service and flexible with regards to their menus. The rooms are immaculate and very clean, the whole place smells fresh and is clean and tidy.

The breakfast was improved on previous stays, with bacon and sausages being kept in a bain marie to keep them warm and to prevent drying out, so this was good. However, it doesn't look appetising, which is a shame, as i'm sure the food is good quality when put out on the buffet.

There is no swimming pool. The advert stated a pool... kids were very upset.. Also, we were not told that we needed a parking permit, and we received a parking fine soon after our return..! The reception staff dealt with it and we did not have to pay, but it was a shock, and a worry when it arrived..!

The room and bed was very comfy and was a nice size room

When your searching for hotels in Aberdeen with a swimming pool this hotel come up and this was the reason I booked this room was because after 18month lockdown this is the first chance my husband and I got time away to relax without the children and was looking forward to using all facilities, when we got there to be told the facilities was permanently close this was very up setting and found it very poor in booking.com to still be advertising this on there website.
