location is a fairly rural area so nice and quiet. On checking in I was met by Miguel, who checked me in and showed me to my room. Once in, I then went back to the bar for a drink, (great selection of beers by the way). I got some change for the pool table and after one frame, Miguel came and joined me....Thank Miguel, you made me feel like a regular to the pub not a visitor. Room was clean and well equip, Shower was powerful, and Cooked breakfast set the day off. Would I stay here again, ABSOLUTLEY..in fact I would be prepared to stay here and then travel a little bit extra it was so good. Well done Miguel and the Team

In my eyes, I think for the money, you cannot get better than this place...

The room was large and well appointed, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean with a good shower. Breakfast was good quality, and though it was rather limited in scope (variations of full English), I was offered a mushroom omelette which was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pub was pleasant and lively. Plenty of free parking, and a bus stop outside for Newcastle one way and Nantwich the other.

The mattress on the double bed was well past its use-by date - not firm at all and rather uncomfortable. Breakfast finishes at 9 a.m., which is rather too early when you're on holiday.

Lovely little pub/hotel, with lovely staff. All-inclusive in the price, so no surprise extras. Cooked breakfast in the morning (as opposed to the usual buffet option you get at bigger hotels) was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate an early check-in for us when we asked. Also arranged a taxi for us when we need to leave for an event.

Not really a slight on the venue itself but a bit of a heads up. Be aware that if you need a taxi from the hotel, you may have a bit of a wait if you don't book in advance (about 15 minutes or so), since the location is a few miles outside nearby towns/cities.

Staff and locals made me feel very welcome and at home. Spacious rooms, nice and clean, good nights sleep. Bonus fridge in the room. The pub is also great, the bar staff are lovely, perfect cider on tap after a long drive. Welcomed my dog and made a fuss of him. I would highly recommend this place if you have a dog, really hard to come by a lovely pub, somewhere to stay that also love dogs and don't charge you more for having one.

Not much to criticise at all, if I was pushed to say something I'd say the breakfast, wasn't to my taste particularly.

A last minute booking.... didn't have high expectations ... however... I had a pleasant evening....staff friendly. Had a lovely evening meal, Sea Bass which is one of my favourites... cooked perfectly and well presented....they certainly looked after the beer...it was a lovely pint...the room was well stocked with all the essentials, bed was comfortable, breakfast was excellent in the morning.... It was a quiz night...so quite a good atmosphere... Ample parking...

They need better signage for the car park from the main road....as one of the entrances to the pub is on a residential street.... which is a dead end....

The owners are very friendly and ensure you have everything you need. The food is excellent. We had an evening meal and full English breakfast. Both were delicious and quite large portions. The beds are very comfy although the pillows were a little had for me personally. The room and the hotel in general was very clean. The shower was hot and powerful. All in all good value for money.

The hotel was a little on the cold side but the owner did seat us next to the fire for our evening meal. Having said that, it is an old building and quite big. So understandable in the current climate.

The rooms are a good size. Well equipped - reasonable storage. Includes a fridge. Decent desk space so I managed to get some work done. Comfortable bed. Clean. Hot shower with decent pressure. Good breakfast. I had a strong 5G signal which was really handy. Didn't check WiFi. Sufficient parking. Evening menu looks very good but I didn't eat there. Good value for money.

It's not a luxury hotel so while clean, there are some signs of wear and tear and a few bits of decor are a bit dated but none of it is a problem.

Lovely Old pub with heaps of Character. A lovely warm and welcoming ambiance and the host and staff were exceptional. Nothing too much and service fast and efficiant. We were there on a Saturday Night and there was Live musician in the Lounge, so we had a sing along The rooms were large and clean, out the back of the pub away from the noise, but still easy access to the Pub. Dinner and breakfast was excellent quality and a large portion Large car park and it was Free. it located in a small village outside of Crewe

The pub looks a little worn upon approach but inside it is a typical english pub, which was nice to see. There is free parking. Upon arrival the owner/Manager took me to my room and was very welcoming. The room is what you pay for but its spacious, comfy, warm, good wifi, and clean. I had food in the evening and breakfast in the morning, the food was excellent, clearly cooked from order, it was nice and hot and tasty, not overpriced, and makes a change to have food worth its price and tasty. This place would not be an obvious choice for me but I do recommend and nice to support a local family with their business. I stayed for work and it was a relaxed atmosphere with all you needed.

The room was cold on arrival but soon warmed up but I just a cold person. Everything else was great.

The check in was very efficient and I was shown to my room, the room was a good size with comfortable beds and all the standard facilities. The pub was great, unfortunately I arrived late and missed the kitchen (food others were just finishing looked great) but the locals were all very friendly and the beers were good, I don't normally sit in a bar on my own when travelling because I feel out of place, not here, more than happy to sit in the bar and chat. Will stay again if in the area.
