Bantam Tea Rooms is set in a historic building right in the centre of town. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable of the area & eager to help. The building & our room was so much better than the photos on line & exceeded expectations. We loved it & hope to return. We came to Chipping Campfen for a wedding and my daughter & other family met us there the following day. The Tea Room were happy to let them get ready in our room and could not of been more accommodating. I recommend this B&B 100% also the breakfast was top class. If you have room there is also some delicious cakes to go with a great cuppa

Delicious breakfast and enjoyed eating it in the cafe when it was quiet before other customers came in as it is an interesting building . Staff were lovely and helpful . We didn't use the car park as we had an unrestricted space across the road and didn't bother moving the car but the parking was available round the back . Room was very clean and comfortable . Easy access to the High Street when the cafe is closed from a rear entrance . We enjoyed looking at the chicken themed bits and pieces in the cafe and garden

We watched tv through the wifi as the regular tv signal wasn't great . Otherwise everything else was good about our stay

Perfect location, comfy beds and pillows, delicious breakfast in a characterful setting. Room was small, but it was cozy and peaceful, which made it so easy and pleasant to relax in the evenings. I had some of the best nights' sleeps of my trip while staying there!

There was a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom, although they were quite clean (probably the plumbing itself). After the restaurant closes, it's necessary to walk a block or two out of the way to go round the back to get into your rooms, which is slightly inconvenient, but I don't expect it would be a big issue for most guests. I would definitely stay here again.

Pekin room was lovely with great views. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Staff were all friendly and accommodating even though they were rushed off their feet. Breakfast we had was good and the other food looked delicious.

I filled in the online "check-in" form and sent a subsequent email asking for an early check in or somewhere to leave our bags and never received a reply. We arrived just after 2pm (in between a wedding ceremony and reception) and our room was yet to be cleaned. The member of staff did apologise, but did say "well check in is from 2," suggesting we were early (we weren't). B and B menu appears reduced from the Tea Room menu itself. I have happily paid extra for the full range.

Good location, on High Street but not noisy at night or early morning. Attractively and whimsically modernized old building with entrance to rooms from courtyard at back with parking. Good tea making, soft towels, good selection of shampoos, body washes. Good recommendation for dinner at nearby pub with clear directions for access as could not get to High Street directly once Tea Rooms closed. Good breakfast selection with brisk service in the tea rooms.

Received "on line registration form" which was instructed to fill out full of questions I wanted to put "none of your business" such as where did you come from/will go to. told on arrival they don't know why it is being sent out and they don't look at it. Check in Ok but felt like rooms a bit of an afterthought as the hostess had to come away from helping cleaning up the closing Tea Rooms and did not have the same feel as an in house hosted B&B.

The property was so full of character. The old stonework and windows, uneven floors and gorgeous views made it feel as though I was staying somewhere in the past but with modern amenities. I could see the rooftops of Chipping Camden from my window and the swooping swifts. Beautiful bird sounds to wake me in the morning. The bed was very comfortable, so much so that I wanted to take it home with me. Each room was named after a breed of chicken and the added chicken door hooks made for a extra special addition. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Though my room was small (perfect for one traveler) there was a desk, a side table, wardrobe, long mirror and a en suite. There is a cake restaurant down stairs which serves yummy food and I have bought some of their Jam. I was struggling with bags and their lovely staff noticed and took half of the to the car for me. I would definitely return for another stay and I wished I could have stayed longer.

The car park is small and you have to reverse to get out of the property but other than that it is wonderful.

The breakfast was lovely. A very kind lady (think she was the manager) made breakfast early for me as I needed to leave for a course. She really was fantastic

Unfortunately, the room was a little noisy (was on the main road). Although I completely understand it is a very small village the traffic outside was quite loud at times with cars, deliveries etc. Other than this, everything else was lovely. Very beautiful establishment and I was very interested in learning how it was originally a cottage and about the renovations. .

Very clean, good central location, comfortable.

We were on the ground floor so during the tea rooms opening hours the room wasn’t very private as people sat right outside your window & we could hear their conversations but it didn’t affect us too much as we were out most of the time & it was very quiet once the tea room had closed. Some biscuits in the room would have been nice too.

The Bantan Tea Rooms are right in the centre of town - just across from the stone market place. Our room was modern with a great bed and new bathroom. The welcoming staff allowed us to lock our bikes out the back initially and later stored them inside overnight. The full English breakfast was everything we needed to get us going for another day cycling these fabulous Cotswolds. We'd love to stay here again.

The breakfast was the best we had in any guesthouse during our trip in England. The Hens Nest was clean, well-maintained, beautifully decorated. Bantam Tea Rooms is perfectly situated, in the center of town. The staff were all professional, knowledgeable, and warm. Check in and out was easy. We will definitely recommend to friends!

There was nothing we didn't like, it exceeded our expectations.
