Town House Bridport Dorset

We loved how Vida always take care and entertain her tenants. She would always make sure that we are served with breakfast even if there's many of us and she's alone preparing the food. We also love Lily their beautiful dog who always greet us in the morning during breakfast. The place in total is cozy and privacy is achieved. Thank you Vida and we forgot to ask the man's name, he's lovely too who also entertain us and help us with instructions around the town. They both are amazing and we'll never forget how well they treated us. Thanks Vida.

Lovely friendly hosts who made us so welcome when we arrived. Very comfortable double room overlooking the town which was nicely furnished. Veda had provided additional bedding which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was really nice with a selection of cereals, optional milks, juices, toast and conserves and good, fresh coffee.

My daughter who had a single room had an uncomfortable couple of nights on a mattress which really needs to be replaced, so sadly she missed out on a day trip due to lack of sleep. Having a shared bathroom was a new experience. Someone else used my toothpaste which was my mistake for leaving it in the bathroom on good faith. However, the bathroom was clean, tidy and well appointed - a really nice power shower!

Good sized double room, simply furnished with very comfortable bed. For a "budget" no frills B&B in a family home it did exactly what it said. Simple cereal and toast breakfast at shared table in kitchen was great too. Im not a brekky person, so was perfect and nice to chat with Veda and other guests.

No TV in room....as a single traveller after a lovely walk into town I spent evening in my room. My room was so quiet (lovely) but all i could hear was the TV downstairs. Im not a big tv watcher but i do think it would be good to have a small tv or radio.

We had a lovely stay with Veda and Andy who were very hospitable and kind with us and our bikes as we came in a little late from our cycle. The room we stayed in was very luxurious and spacious and very comfortable.

Just a small thing (and of course not a problem) but the lounge bedroom is next to the kitchen so can be a bit loud in the morning during breakfast/potentially might be less private if can hear the bedroom from kitchen.

Bags of character and very homely. Comfy beds and tea making facility. Adequate bathroom with plenty of hot water. Most of all very hospitable hosts who made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our breakfast in their spacious kitchen diner.

Although not an issue for us the shared bathroom facilities may not be to everyone’s taste. Limited parking on road but again we were happy.

ideal location, a few minutes walk from The centre and easy to park. very friendly hosts . Not too expensive .

it ticked all the boxes although it would have been nice to have had a cooked breakfast . They weren’t able to this as have a domestic kitchen . Toast , cereal and fruit was fine though.

The hosts Andy and Veda made me very welcome. I had a pot of tea to myself at breakfast in the morning. The B&B is really convenient for Bridport High Street, being just a short walk away. The street itself seemed very quiet

Difficult to locate the light switch on the top floor outside my bedroom when returning late at night

I RATED ALL MY ANSWERS ON THE PRICE OF THE STAY WOULD HAVE LIKED A FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST BUT THE PRICE WE PAID QUITE IMPOSIBLE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO PAY MORE FOR A BREAKFAST BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE WAS VERY GOOD THE STAY SUITED US VERY WELL BEING JUST AN OVERNIGHT STAY WITH CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST

THE PARKING COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER YOU CAN PARK OUTSIDE PROPERTY IF LUCKY AND NO ONE ELSE PARKED THERE WE PARKED ABOUT150 YRDS AWAY BUT BEING OVER NIGHT WITH ONLY ONE BAG TO CARRY DIDNT REALY MATTER

Friendly, accomodating and helpful hosts, spacious and comfortable rooms. Location excellent for the town centre.

Not having an en suite wasn't ideal, but actually in the end worked out fine for us. The property doesn't have dedicated parking so you might have to hunt for a space on the street, though we lucked out in the end!
