Admiral Blake Guesthouse

Room is clean and spacious. We've used the kitchen, fridge is shared with other guests and everyone respects each other stuff. Garden is small but lovely. Everything works and room got cleaned daily. Staff was really nice. Rooms have tea and coffee facilities, plus milk is provided and stored in the shared fridge.

Kitchen oven wasn't clean, parking during the day can be an issue as it's residents only and dogs need to stay on leads also in the small garden, which is understandable if there are other guests. Also dogs not allowed on the bed.

The guest house is really nice. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to eat in or order take away. There is also a small garden where you can sit or if you are a smoker, you can smoke.

For dogs owner: your pet is not allowed on the bed, thought it was important to share. The kitchen oven was the only thing that needed a good clean. No parking on sight. All park spaces around the area are residents only between 8am and 6pm Monday through Saturday. We were lucky enough to be out and about during those times.

The room was exceptionally clean and tidy (I have a cleaning company of my own and I am a very fussy person) I could not fault the facilities either everything you would need was provided. I didn't actually see any staff as the check in system is done through the booking app however I had a few queries and was responded to promptly. Considering I paid less than £50 I was very surprised just how fantastic this stay away was! We will definatley be coming back! Thank you very much Joel!

the property was fine comfy and the room was good the one problem was the carpet had stains all over it but other than that it was clean and tidy and well looked after.

the advert said satellite tv channels when really they was just normal freeview channels bit disappointing but not a big problem and they could do with getting the carpets cleaned in the rooms also the back door was left wide open which isn’t a good thing but other than these minor things the place was fine.

Stayed here a few times to visit events nearby, always very good value + comfortable, and check-in process is simple.

Front room was a bit stuffy, it would be useful to have a fan as can't open window due to noise (not an issue when I've stayed in other rooms). Option for earlier check-in would be nice

Ideal if sedgemoor campus is full for HPC workers. It's a lot more homely than the campus and the location is central to all amenities/bus stops. The central heating is always on and rooms always nice and toastie. Nice thick carpets in bedrooms and nice size TV and drawers etc for clothes. Ideal for HPC workers needing a stop gap before securing longer term accommodation.

Great sized room, very clean. Able to bring my bicycle in and keep it secure for the night. Great little terrace patio, garden at the rear. Small kitchen with shopping complex nearby so I could buy and heat / cook my own food. Small dining area with a TV. So relaxing, a great, secure, bicycle friendly guest house.

Bottom oven didn't seem to function, but I managed with the smaller top one.

Very nice bed and breakfast with superb customer service ( not face to face but via txt). Location was just perfect fir what we need. Very clean room ( bit dated but still very nice) .

Everything was great maybe apart from shower but that is something I have noticed in few other places we stayed recently that there is a new type of shower/water saving / with very little pressure and too cold water for my liking .

We liked that we could use the facilities as normal, had a really good meal, and managed to wash our dirty clothes for the journey ahead. Rooms were standard and clean with working TV and kettle.

Unfortunately, there were two other guests staying that messed around with our laundry.

The room and bathroom were a nice size, clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. The TV had enough channels to keep me entertained. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance.

Parking was a bit difficult before 4pm otherwise it was fine.
