The George Inn is in Braunton, a small town in North Devon. Parking is located opposite the pub which is really convenient. The pub is on a main road we had a room at the front which was a good size very clean with tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely soft towels, great smelling shower gel. Spacious well lite bathroom with good-sized shower and comfortable bed. You would have thought this would be noisy, but it really wasn't. i had one of the best nights of 😴 💤 I've had in a long time away from my own bed! The stage were very friendly and hepful just make sure to give your car reg for the car park and you are all set. The

Only picky point would be that shower pump would improve spray on shower.

The room was well decorated and aspects had clearly been renovated to a good standard. The size of the bathroom and shower was excellent as was the quality of the fitments. We especially appreciated the inclusion of a fan given the fact it was a very hot day and the heat remained at night. The host was very informative and helpful. Many restaurants in the immediate area and even though the parking was on the other side of the road it was free courtesy of the inn.

The blinds give good privacy but this is at the expense of getting fresh cool air through the window which was necessary given how hot it was on the weekend we stayed.

Location in village qas very good. Free parking via pub opposite was excellent value. Unusual these days. Breakfast was superbly cooked, hot and fresh both days. 2nd visit here to see friends.

Our room 'Woolacombe' was bright and comfortable.. unfortunately it was in need of a lick off paint in the room, as walls were marked and scuffed. Bathroom was not clean in lots of areas, corners, cobwebs, lovely walk in shower exterior was grubby...and the waste bin, well it was nasty...white goods were clean though. Think the cleaner standards needs to be checked over...

A very relaxing stay at The George Inn, spacious rooms, great breakfasts, attentive and friendly staff and a great base for heading to different parts of the North Devon Coast! Parking included during our stay was the cherry on the cake! Big thank you to Chris, Amy, Paul and Roland for looking after us so well all week, we really appreciated it! The veggie breakfasts certainly helped set us up for our daily hiking trips! My partner and I will be back again soon, thank you so much!

Lovely, comfortable room with friendly, helpful staff. Nice, good quality meals with reasonably priced drinks… unusual for this part of the world! Good central location made it easy to find from our SW Coast Path route. Reasonably priced accommodation and excellent value for money. Braunton has a lovely seaside town feel to it even though it’s a few miles from the coast… an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful part of the UK.

The staff were really friendly and helpful with an early check out the next day. The bar downstairs was lovely and buzzy. We didnt eat here at all though so cant comment on the food. The location was great and central.

Unfortunately there was a live band on the night we stayed and we were not aware of this, so the room was very noisy up to around 11.30pm. We were in town for a different reason, so this did hamper the evening a little.

The owner (when we met him - assuming that he was the owner) was helpful and friendly. The décor in the hotel part of the pub was very good, and our room and bathroom were well decorated and equipped. Breakfast was very good.

The initial greeting (not by the owner, but by one of the bar staff) was not at all good and we did not feel at all welcomed. The room was very nice, but we had not realised that the Inn was on a roundabout on a busy set of roads, so it was very noisy. With the window closed it was better, but then it was rather hot. Later we realised that there was a fan, but we didn't in the middle of the night when we had to close the window.

Check in was super easy, there was live music which was nice. The staff were nice and the room was lovely. Nicely put together and well decorated. The room itself wasn't too noisy either even though there was live music downstairs, we could hear it but not too loud.

There where a few hairs stuck to the walls in the shower, that grossed us out a little bit. A few stains on the blanket on the end of the bed. The carpets need redoing but we came at the end of the season so this was expected and not an issue for us.

The room was both an excellent size and very clean. It's probably one of the best cooked breakfasts I have had. Freshly cooked and generous portions. The manager is very friendly, chap, helpful and informative. The parking is a dream and directly across from the hotel. None of the tight stressful squeeze in where you can.

Found nothing I didn't like about this hotel and its location.

Great location for local buses with bus stop just outside so excellent base for walking coast riute. Very friendly staff . Big room which was light and airy as was the bar area, Good food.

Breakfast was the pub brunch menu - good quality - but I do like some fruit for breakfast. (Mind you there was a coop just next door so we bought berries)
