Hotel Babylon

stones throw from the front and north pier, breakfast excellent and guy running it couldn't have done more for you. The name is a little curious - if not salubrious - (presumably the old name as recently taken over) but is in reality a friendly, nice, clean hotel which I'd recommend to anyone

can't think of anything to be honest as all expectations were certainly met. some hotels have gel dispensers in the bathroom/shower but not in this case so bought something from the corner shop yards away (there was hand wash next to the sink) - either way it wasn't a big deal

We had a family room and instead of the usual bed settee there was 2 single beds in addition to the double bed. The room was clean and a decent size. Breakfast was great, really appreciated the personal touch of being waited on and Breakfast being cooked to order. The lovely waitress was very attentive keeping the coffee and tea topped up, a necessity after a night out! The owner/manager was friendly and took the time to say goodbye when we left. Hotel perfect location for the gay bars and Funny Girls we had a fabulous time in Blackpool

Not a criticism just a note to say that if you have mobility issues and/or struggle with stairs you may find the stairs a problem. I have hip problems and we were on the top floor, it was a challenge but the gin helped 😊

Very friendly and helpful host, excellent room with a view to the sea. Lovely and peaceful night with an excellent cooked breakfast the next day. Can't fault it!

Andy the manager was brilliant very welcoming and also made an amazing full English breakfast made to order every day..the location at the top end of the main promenade areas close to north pier is superb as a base to head out from .The room had a shower altho water pressure was very low it was usable . The bed was comfy slept mostly on top rather than in due to heat ,tv was good for downtime and winding down ,/ catching news..we felt reasonably secure with a front door key and room key , plenty of power points for charging phones and equipment. Would have 0 problem recommending babylon to others ..all in all although the building is a bit dated its used well and and runs it well , maybe needs a few tweaks ( sink in toilet/shower rather than bedroom) but overall none affected our stay

The whole of blackpool is basically a no parking zone and there are of course a gazillion car parks mostly owned by the council ...25 quid for 4 days isnt so bad tho ..maybe an upgrade of the Windows for a little soundproofing as noisy revellers and the "event" was difficult to sleep through at times ..

My main requirement for this stay was a comfortable bed for one night and a warm shower in the morning, and that is exactly what I got at Hotel Babylon. My room had just one room next to it in a small corridor. No noise could be heard from the guests next door or from anywhere else in the hotel until it was near check out time so that was ideal. The room was also very clean. The price I paid was definitely great value for money. The location is near the promenade and not far from the north pier, if that is consideration for future guests.

The only improvement I suggest is supplying shower gel in the bathroom.

The room was perfect for our family of four. It was comfortable and clean, just right fro and overnight stay. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very accommodating to your needs and very welcoming. The hote was right next to the sea front so no walking a distance to get where you wanted to go, and if there's a space the car park is right over the road so you don't have to carry your luggage far to your room.

Nothing. Everything was just right.

Owner of hotel is currently in hospital so the lady looking after hotel was on her own. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always cheerful and pleasant. Breakfast was really nice

Room not cleaned on a daily basis. Towels not changed, drink supplies not topped up. Was told to ask for fresh towels extra tea, coffee etc. TV would not tune into channels

zain could not be more helpful as we were the only guested he let us book in early ,and allowed us to park in the only parking space at the hotel (more like a guest house). good for 1 night, as the only guests breakfast was cooked fresh.

room was very warm windows would not open enough zain did say had we asked he would have supplied a fan.

The owner and his assistant were both very friendly and attentive, The room was spacious and clean, lovely powerful shower. The cooked breakfast was spot on every day. My wife is a coeliac and Andy did a great gf vegetarian breakfast for he every day. We will definitely be back. Nice and close to the centre, very quiet.
