Fabulous B&B; comfortable, clean and cosy with very quiet surrounds. Fantastic facilities and location was superb - only a few minutes easy walk to Barters Books and Alnwick Castle and the main Street with its cafes and restaurants. Loved having a fridge in the room for keeping my wine cold etc. Good variety and choice at breakfast with the hot breakfast cooked to order by the lovely Joanna. Great communication from the friendly host Darren who provides lots of helpful information about the town and things to do and see. Easy access with parking in side street and a handy big supermarket right next door. Stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed more.

Communication and instructions from Darren were excellent. We liked being able to enter the property and access our room independently. The room was very comfortable and cosy. It was particularly nice to have a fridge. Breakfast was excellent in very pleasant room. Cafetiere coffee we made ourselves was a bonus. Coffee in hotels is frequently poor. Parking at the back of the terrace was helpful. Excellent location for Alnwick Castle and Garden which are superb. Lidl was very close by.

With the window open there was some noise from staff in yard. Shower cubicle was rather small.

Enjoyed our stay, very good location, less than a 10 minutes walk to the centre and to Alnwick Castle. Beds and cushions very comfortable. Was grateful for the makeup towel which was a nice touch. Nice quiet room. Really appreciated the detailed information about restaurants etc beforehand. Shower was hot and we were provided with plenty of towels. Would definitely stay again if I was to revisit Alnwick.

The toast was self-serve and it would have been nice to have toast served with the cooked breakfast so it was warm/hot, but I wouldn’t say this is a negative, just a personal preference. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t fault it.

Clear information by texts received before stay. Parking on the street behind the establishment was easy and free. Greeted on arrival by host Darren and check in was very easy. A few minutes walk into town and there is a selection of restaurants - recommend the Italian. Double room with bath/shower was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Had an excellent sleep on the comfortable bed. Room had TV and small refrigerator, and complimentary toiletries and handwash in the bathroom. Breakfast selection is as wide as you will find anywhere with cereals, fruit, yoghurts, etc. Darren cooked breakfast quickly and he is a champion cook. He is a very open and friendly host with lots of information to share.

Nothing negative to report. We were passing through, but there is plenty to do in the vicinity if we had stayed longer.

My first visit to Northumberland. Instructions on arrival were very good. The room was good for my needs and very clean. Breakfast had a wide selection of foods. It was good to start the day with a friendly smile and full tummy. Gave me a good base to explore the area. No problems with parking at the house,always found a space on return.

The mattress on the bed was a bit soft and I was able to feel the spring when turning over. But this is my view and I'm used to a very firm mattress at home. Still had a good sleep though.

Excellent choice of food for breakfast and cooked to perfection. Easy to help oneself and very well organised. Facility to eat in if one did not wish to go out was no trouble to the host . Always asked every morning if there was anything we needed or wanted doing for our accommodation.

There was just one tiny flaw and that was the small size of the bath towels. Otherwise everything had been thought of for our comfort

The location was close to Alnwick castle and Barter Books which were the main places we came to see. It is also a short drive from Newcastle and was easy enough to find with free parking on the side road. Darren was friendly and took the time out to chat with us about our stay and provided a lot of knowledge on the local area. We didn't stay for breakfast as were leaving really early to get to the Great North Run but he offered for us to grab some fruit/toast etc on our way out which all looked delicious! Thank you so much Darren for making our stay so brilliant.

That we didn't get to stay for more nights!

Eveanna is an exceptionally warm hospitable house it feels like home I felt so comfortable and made very welcome by Darren and Joanne it's a perfect stay for going out and about breakfasts we're spot on beautifully clean room thankyou to whom does the housekeeping has well I would certainly stay again next time we come up which we will again fantastic break for me and partner 😀

Nothing to dislike at all

The location is excellent. Just a short (5 mins?) walk to Alnick Centre and almost next door to Banter Books which is located in the old train station (and well worth a visit). Comfortable room with complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee, and biscuits etc. Darren (the host) is a super friendly guy with a great sense of humour and he helped make our stay a complete pleasure. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices ... he'll even give you baked beans if you ask nicely ... (o;

The toilet flush (in room #2) was a little awkward till you got the knack (press down hard and hold) and the TV could have been a little bigger (with better sound?) but I'm really scraping the barrel to think of negatives here.

Great location and very clean just minutes from the centre but also nice and quiet, good breakfast options with self service plus hot cooked food made to order. Free parking on the road behind was good and the people very friendly.

Just a shame the twin room is on the 2nd floor as my friend struggled with the number of stairs but this was clearly shown when booking so it was expected.
