The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach

Just what we needed. A private and secluded stay, extremely relaxing. The staff were very polite and courteous. The outdoor area of the villa was spacious and completely private (depends which villa you choose, the pricier one has bigger outdoor space with a deck at the end with sunbeds overlooking the sea). We went down to the waldorf for jetskiing and I was instantly glad with the decision to stay at the ritz (the waldorf was just too busy and crowded). Our requests at the ritz were accommodated. The barbecue with private chef was a great experience (so much food). I look forward to staying here again. The price was inflated because of the public holiday but i did not mind paying it for the experience we had. Although next time i will book when its not a holiday period. An amazing place to get away and completely relax. The temperature of the pool was perfect. It is very intimate as there is a small amount of staff so by the end of your stay you will know all of them. We loved it. A hidden gem enough for 2 or 3 days. this resort is a Maldivian style , it is perfect to spend time with your beloved, villa with private pool the pool is very nice and clean ,the room and the view the garden and the seating areas in the garden , it was charming experiment , I will come back for sure .

the only thing could be better is the breakfast was very limited , but for us it is ok because the food is not our big concern .

the place was fantastic, we were there for new Year eve - lucky us it turned out that RAK broke 2 new world records that night. The staff were all great, from Omar the manager to Mario at the reception, i wish i could remember everyone's name to thank them. loved the serenity and the seclusion of it all, will definitely be returning

something small and stupid; we drove up from Dubai - we got our car returned to us super dirty as it was parked outside, bird poop on it, leaves etc - a quick hose down would have bypassed that -

The villa is gorgeous and the second you step in, you forget all your problems. This was a magical paradise where you're surrounded by greenery and beautiful birds, total privacy where nobody bothers you, the sea is right there in front of you and the water is so clear you can spot sea turtles coming up to the surface every 2 minutes. The pool was nice and pleasantly heated, surrounded by trees and birds of all kinds. The staff at the Ritz Carlton are possibly the friendliest people you will meet. Each and every person I've talked to was so pleasant and helpful and I'm thankful to all of them. I have celiac disease and the hotel accommodated my dietary needs. Gluten-free options are always available and the restaurant made the right substitutions every time I ordered. A big thank you to everyone at the Ritz Carlton Al-Hamra Resort. I cannot wait to be back.

I'm just splitting hairs here because my entire stay was just magical. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to clean the pool more often. One of the downsides of being surrounded by nature is that the pool gets a little messy quickly. But other than that, everything was just perfect.

The resort is nice. The service is very good, and that’s what I appreciate. Husnain in room service, Zubair in engineering were very good and efficient. And Maaz in management was so great. Amr and Salesh in the food services were so very helpful. Both very welcoming and accommodating. Amr was so nice with our kids. Julie and shivraj at front desk were kind and helpful. I was in Villa 3, it’s close to the restaurant and has a door at The beach for more privacy, but at night due to the open area restaurant nearby has noise and smoke. The outside of the villas is very nice. Huge space. Serene and relaxing

The only issue was the villas are a little dated and the light buttons are cumbersome.

If you are looking to have a relaxed beach vacation and some privacy, this is the resort. Everything was amazing. Villa is perfect for laid back holiday. Everything was well kept and maintained. Pool is good to relax. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Will come back for sure.

The blinds on the curtain is next to ac vent so they make noise throughout if your ac is on. Best way is to keep it half way closed and not fully closed which we learned the second day. We informed about it to the manager as well and he assured us to look into it.

This has become one of my favorite places to stay for relaxation, complete peace, comfort and a great nights sleep. It is firmly on the top of my list and have come 3 different times already, thank you 🙏🏼

The only thing that would be great to improve is the breakfast. To have some more choices that are gluten and dairy free, or known that they are there, would be amazing as it is a little restricting. When using room service this is catered for so well it was great. So only the breakfast knowledge of options. Everything else is always amazing.

The privacy is great. Pool size is decent. The staff are welcoming and very supportive. The room is clean and well organized. Big sofa for family. Rotating TV made entertainment on sofa or bed enjoyable. Toilet and shower are spacious.

Mostly needs to improve to make it better experience: - Need Electric curtains. Almost 9 curtains to close at night and open again in the morning - All manual. - Add a retractable shade over the private pool. In summer, guests will enjoy the stay / swim more. I placed a beach tent over the pool and we enjoyed swimming without worries about the blazing sun. - The coffee maker blue light is so bright at night and continuously blinking. Had to remove the plug. - Add a door / gate towards the beach to have full privacy to the villa. Our neighboring guest kept looking at us swimming when their kid was playing in the sand.

The Hotel benefits from a fantastic park of nature where the wild life especially birds, seems to strive. The room was amazingly decorated and the level of comfort was up to expectations. The service was at all times top notch on all levels, from hotel management to the restaurant passing by room service.

While the venue is breathtaking the only problem that an abundance of birds creates, is a certain amount of feces around the rooms and in the pool. While it's not really bothering around the room, it's particularly displeasing for the private pools, especially because it's probably among the perks that attract most clients into this hotel. Having your private nest of luxury.

The staff went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. We were sad that the beach restaurant was closed but one of your amazing waiters went to the extra effort to ask the chef to prepare our favourites from this menu at your other restaurant location. Everyone was smiley and welcoming. The bbq for in room dining was a great touch - really enjoyed it.

We had to wait quite a while for a buggy to collect us for checkout. I appreciate it was a busy time though. I think, given the amazing quality of the restaurant menus, it would be nice to add some more options to the in room dining. There seems to be quite a disparity in the quality and amount of options between the restaurant and the in room dining, given that many people would eat in their rooms for at least one meal a day.
