Royal Beach Hotel & Resort

I really love coming here to be honest, it isn't my first time. The location is great, and the Turtle Beach Bar is just my favorite place in UAE. The staff are super friendly and amazing. The beach is spectacular. The rooms are spacious and love how they are very close to the beach. The only thing I would try to improve a little is just the rooms in itself. Its clean, but I think it can do better than that. More room amenities without having to ask for them. Everything else, is great.

The access to the electric output was difficult, so I had to plug in my phone on a charge far from me which was a bit inconvenient. Laptop was difficult to charge as well.

Breakfast was very very bad. There was no open buffet. Very limited selections. There was no tasty. It's costly. At all, it was disappointed. The staff was very strict if you want to request anything more. They were counting anything. I can say, compared with other restaurants in many hotels, it's very bad experience with not welcoming staff.

Huge room, big and comfortable bed, cheap liquer store just in the hotel premisses, grill provided for free (just bring your charcoal and food :) ). Nice view from a small terrace overlooking the sea. We dont like huge hotels so we really appreciated calm and laid back atmosphere of the whole resort. All the staff was kind and helpful. The sea is clean and good for snorkelling (a lot of turtles etc.). Even on low tide, there is good access to the sea just next to the hotel. The bedroom is on the back side of the building so even if the terraces got noisy on the evening, you have a calm sleep guaranteed.

There are literally no kitchen utensils in the kitchen, hard to say why (but you get at least a knife and plates if you ask). The kids playground needs more care and renovations. There is a grfeat fruit market and a basic but good streetfood restaurant in a walking distance, but not a grocery store.

I especially liked the location. We booked an executive suite and I requested one close to the beach and the hotel didn't disappoint me. Our terrace was literally 10 meters from the beach. We could enjoy the view and the sound of the ocean while having our meals. We slept and woke up to the sound of the waves. There was also plenty of green space right next to our suite, where we played racquetball and football. The hotel has a water activities center that offers various services, including kayaking, snorkeling and diving around an island right in front of the hotel, all for decent prices. They also offer water shoes for free since the beach is quite rocky. I had already read about this in the reviews, so we bought our own water shoes and snorkeling kits, and it was a great decision. We snorkeled every single day morning and afternoon without having to go to the island. We saw turtles feeding only four meters into the ocean and several other species, including big fish camouflaging in the floor of the ocean. Snorkeling in the island was even better with much clearer waters. When we hired the kayak, they gave us a rope that we were told we could tie to an anchor near the island and swim and snorkel there for an hour! With a big bedroom and an equally big living room, the suite was more than enough for our family of four. We had to request an extra bed, though, but there was enough space for it in the living room. There is also a small(ish) kitchenette in the living room, which was helpful. There is a small market within walking distance from the hotel. You can find plenty of fresh fruits there. One last thing I loved about the hotel is that it is quite quiet, so it is fantastic for those seeking relaxation.

The hotel is a bit old, so the furniture and the bathroom could use some improvements. The kitchenette lacks utensils and a toaster. It only has a two-burner stove, a sink, a water boiler, a small fridge, glasses for water and tea cups. Because I had already read about this in the reviews, we took our own utensils (paper plates, extra paper cups, a small Ikea coffee maker...). We also used plates and cutlery provided by the hotel upon asking. But the location, the service and the very accommodating and friendly staff more than made up for these minor inconveniences.

the furniture old need to be changed as soon as possible…the restaurant not very clean too much flies and the food is so so 👎🏽

The location only

I've been there many times already and enjoyed my stay in every visit. Rooms are clean, spacious, and easily accessible. The team is very courteous, helpful, and friendly. Facilities are well kept and maintained. Breakfast in room is also a nice perk especially in terrace with sea view and Dibba rock in sight. You can also ask for complimentary BBQ and grill your own food. Marine life is amazing and diverse especially around sunset and sunrise, as you may find your self swimming with turtles, rays, and many fish species. If you're into watersports there's also a PADI diving center as well as boat and jetski rental.

While rooms are non-smoking seems that previous guests may have smoked indoors. I recommend deep cleaning and extra ventilation to remove smoke scent and maybe installing higher sensitivity smoke detectors.

Not a crowded place during the weekdays which is perfect. Very nice rocky beach with clear water and surprisingly with a lot of wildlife (which should be well respected by us as travelers of course)! Turtle Beach Restaurant - is a hidden gem! - we loved it so much: delicious food and cocktails, very welcoming staff - special thanks to Gildas for his great (you can add the word "signature" here without any doubt) cocktails and fantastic service! Standard room has a nice sea view.

Rooms need some refurbishment (for example carpet), and also non-carpeted floor in the shared corridor from which room is accessible makes sounds from the neighbors leaving their rooms quite loud. And PLEASE please kindly remove this giant white board between the beach and the grass loan which is obstructing view to Dibba Island.

Chalet rooms are large and clean, and facing a lawn and beach. The beach is private to the resort. Rooms could comfortably accommodate our family of 6. Very relaxed setting. Room service is prompt. This is a smaller property, only has about 25 chalets, so cannot get crowded like the 5 star hotel chains nearby.

One part of the beach is very rocky. Breakfast is priced for tourists. It's much easier to pop into Dibba for a good breakfast. Kitchen does not have basic utensils, but is delivered when asked.

We had a bungalow with a beautiful sea view, from our balcony we could go directly to the beach. Breakfast was amazing: three options, big portions. It is really situated on the turtle beach, you can swim with turtles in their natural habitat!! It's such a great experience. There's a rock in front of the hotel in the sea, where you can go snorkeling: bring your own snorkeling equipment (you can rent in the hotel snorkeling/diving center, but it's costly). There's a swimming pool (but we did not use it, as the sea was nice and warm).

We planned to stay for 1 night, but then extended our stay in the morning for another night. I could not wash my hair as there was no hair conditioner in the hotel. The shop was about 15 min drive from the hotel, we were tired and lazy to drive there. This small thing could make our stay much better. The bathroom seemed to be not cleaned well: there were streaks on the walls, and the bath tub & shower curtain smelled bad.

I stayed in the Empire villa, so we all loved the big indoor swimming pool. and the living room was very big (with a common washroom)+ 3 bedrooms with attached washroom. also, they have a kitchen with all amenities including a food/ bar counter + a big dining table for 10 people. the villa have private parking for two cars and have maid room with 2 single beds and with attached washroom. The Empire Villa have a closed private beach access and an outdoor dining table closer to the beach where you can have the foods, drink and shisha.
