Very large comfortable room. Plenty of space for a family with 2 kids. The kids loved the bathroom. Good view from the window, hospitable staff, delicious breakfast. Convenient car parking. Nearby there are cafes and shops. 7 eleven in 10 minutes walk.
There was not enough kettle in the room to make tea or milk for the children, but that's not essential. Old sofa in a large room.

The location was amazing. Directly opposite a beautiful beach that was crowded. Very peaceful and relaxing.
The bed was as old as the hills and very uncomfortable. They only provided 1 pillow per person and charged you extra for another. Room service didn't operate after 11am and breakfast was served cold. No kettle in room.

The hotel still works, better than based on some older reviews. It is old, but reasonably maintained. The towels and linnens were okay. The airconditioning outside unit is a bit noisy. It is time to invest in a more modern invertor unit. The room is large but the furniture a bit spartan, no comfy chair.
The breakfast could easily and cheaply be a bit upgraded, from the self service nescafe, white bread and fried egg stuff.

Not much has changed since the first visit in 2014. The hotel is slowly falling apart. But will stop for 1-2 days is suitable.
Mold on the wall, the wall is clearly leaking and in need of repair (room 301).

Very good location. "Nice Beach" hotel is next to really nice beach :) A lot of eateries, coffee shops etc nearby. 7-11 within 10 minutes walk.
Hotel is old, need renovation. Aircon is noisy. Door to balcony difficult to open/close. Room was "seaview", however actually cannot see sea, only trees. But can hear noise from cars on the road. Better select room with "back view". Upon check-in there are no toilet paper. I informed staff (in Thai), they told "ok", but just ignored. No internet access in the rooms (only at reception area). Not a problem for me (I have mobile internet), but foreign guests usually expect it.
