Wora Bura Hua Hin Resort & Spa - SHA Extra Plus

THE HOTEL WELCOME ...ROOM ..POOL.. BRAKFAST WHERE EXCELLENT. THE SITUATION RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACH WHERE THE TIDE CAME IN AND OUT RIGHT UP TO THE STEPS OF THE HOTEL WAS A REAL PLUS ESPECIALLY FOR EARLY MORNING SWIMMING BEFORE BREAKFAST..THE WHOLE HOTEL HAD A LOVELY CALMING EFFECT ON ALL THE PEOPLE STAYING THERE..

EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTILL WE CAME TO LEAVE THE HOTEL AT 6AM IN THE MORNING WHEN WE WHER INFORMED THAT OUR ROOM HAD BEEN CHECKED AND WE WOULD BE CHARGED FOR SLIPPERS FLIT-FLOPS AND A BEACH BAG WHICH WE HAD BEEN TOLD ON ARRIVAL THAT THE BAG WAS A GIFT TO TAKE BACK TO ENGLAND. iT'S NOT THAT I NEEDED THE BAG IT WAS JUST THE WAY IT WAS DONE AS IF WE WHERE STEALING ..IT.. PUT A REALLY SOUR TASTE ON WHAT HAD BEEN A LOVELY STAY. ALL THAT WAS NEEDED WAS A NOTE IN THE ROOM TO STAY THAT TESE THINGS WOULD BE CHARGED NOT TOLD THEY WHERE A GIFT TO TAKE HOME . AND THEN TOLD THEY WHERE NOT..... SUCH A SHAME THEY NEED TO SORT IT OUT...

- The worst breakfast we ever had (food quality, taste and the setting e.g. food which supposes to be hot but it was cold.). I think hotel management really needs to look at this urgently.

Beautiful place, just by the beach. Very quiet, ideal if you want to enjoy a peaceful holiday but also be relatively close to the centre of Hua Hin. The rooms are huge and elegant. All staff were very helpful, they accommodated all my needs, helped me book trips, extend my stay and more. Special thanks to Netty at reception, but really everyone I interacted with was amazing. The spa is great, had very good massages at accessible prices. I could not recommend this place highly enough! It was absolutely great on all fronts.

The AC in the room was quite noisy so had to turn it off most of the time to be able to sleep. The plugs in the room are US style and are quite old, not in the convenient location etc. The staff very kindly provided an adaptor but was quite fiddly to use. In any case, a very minor inconvenience in the big picture.

Had a great weekend long stay in Wora Bura. Nice and cozy place, simply loved the room and the overall stay. Very professional and welcoming staff in all parts of the resort. The beach restaurant staff are service minded and takes that extra mile for the guest well being. Spa is a must to try, highly recommended.

Some of sunbed around the pool need an urgent maintenance. Lighter food options at the beach restaurant would be an option to add to the menu.

This is a very good resort at the end of the long Hua Hin beach within walking distance of the big Buddha. It has a lovely, large garden and is built in a tasteful, traditional Thai style, with the lobby particularly attractive. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a large pool with sufficient seating although the resort was nearly full when we were there. The beach restaurant has a limited menu but is excellent. It is also good value, being less expensive than many other resorts in Hua Hin.

This is not really a five star resort. The gym has old equipment, some of which was broken. When asked about repairs, I was told vaguely that it would be fixed at some point which is not very helpful when there for a short stay. Towels always seemed to run out at the pool and new ones had to often be requested, suggesting the resort is understaffed. Breakfast selection is adequate but not outstanding. While there were some excellent staff, other staff could have been friendlier (judged by the very high standards at 5 star resorts/hotels in Hua Hin and Thailand generally). The airconditioning in the room could not be adjusted so had simply be turned it off when it got too cold. But given the lovely setting and the reasonable price, it is still a recommendable four star-style resort.

Great friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Nice gardens and pool. Good massages. Breakfast and dinner both good. Cold AC in the room.

Billed as five star but soap and skincare items were poor quality. Lots of small broken things all around the property. Missing tiles in the pool and lagoons in the garden that were not working. Pool bar and beach side bar both closed for the entire stay. Steam room not functional in spa. Dirt in the corners of the room by the door. Pealing wall paper pieces. Bicycles for guest use in poor condition.

A lovely resort with all buildings in the old wooden Thai style. Really lovely ensemble, lovely grounds to walk around, the grounds are really well-maintained. My room was large and spacious, with a balkony (even with a rocking chair!), a lovely bathroom, all, again old-style, quaint, lovely. The resort offers a regular shuttle service into town and to the various markets, which is quite helpful as it is a bit far to walk. The location, on Khao Takiab beach, is great otherwise. There are some very nice Thai restaurants on the main road, which are just a few minutes' walk from the resort (if you don't mind cutting through a bit of a short-cut). The staff were always very helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed my stay at Wora-Bura and would go there again!

The room was huge! The bed was massive and so comfortable. I loved the shutters into the bathroom and the day bed. We used the pool a lot, it was very quiet when we stayed with few guests using the pool. Unfortunately the tides were high so we never had the opportunity to go onto the beach. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The grounds were beautiful, a real pleasure to wander around. There was a free shuttle bus to take us into town at particular times.

It was a shame that the tides were high and we couldn’t access the beach, but we should have checked before we went.

I am delighted to share my outstanding experience during my stay at Wora Bura in Hua Hin. From the moment I entered the room, I was captivated by its stately, spacious, and impeccably clean ambiance. The professionalism and helpfulness of the staff further added to the exceptional service. I cannot praise enough the amazing variety and delicious taste of the breakfast offered. Additionally, the large and enjoyable pool, conveniently located next to the beach, provided a perfect setting for relaxation. The beautifully maintained gardens and grounds were an absolute delight to explore, leaving me enchanted throughout my stay. Remarkably, Wora Bura offers excellent value for the price paid. Moreover, its convenient proximity to Hua Hin's finest night markets, such as Cicada Market and Tamarind Market, made our experience even more enjoyable. Tamarind Market, in particular, stands out as a food lover's paradise. I highly recommend scheduling your stay to coincide with the days it is open – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Furthermore, Wora Bura offers complimentary shuttles to the town, allowing guests to explore attractions such as Village Market. Do not miss the bustling food court at B1, where one can indulge in a vast selection of reasonably priced items ranging from 20 to 80 baht. On the third floor, there is also an affordable massage place offering traditional Thai massage for just 250 baht per hour. Alternatively, "Let's Relax," another massage venue, provides a more upscale experience. My husband indulged in their 4 hands massage for 1400 baht and proclaimed it to be one of the best massages he has ever had. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Wora Bura as a hidden gem in Hua Hin. I am filled with gratitude for the exceptional and relaxing holiday experience I had there. My sincerest appreciation goes to the staff and management of Wora Bura for their outstanding efforts in creating such a memorable stay. Well done indeed!

Classical Thai Resort, with perfect hospitality friendly service. The kind of place that made me fall in love with the country 25 years ago. It is not soulless big brand 5 star mega hotel, it is old school traditional Thai resort with the charm that goes with this. As a side note we had a small issue with our room, one of those things that can ruin a short break if not handled professionally. However the staff and management were excellent at resolving the issue swiftly and courteously. Even going above and beyond the call of duty.

Not a great deal. This is an older classical colonial style hotel. You can pick holes in the maintenance however personally I prefer the imperfections over a complete refurb which would cause the place to loose its charm.
