Ayrest Hua Hin Hotel

Breakfast was very good with lots of choice . Fresh fruit always a pleasure. Bacon and eggs on offer and different breads available. The bonus being the shuttle bus to three different locations at popular times as there was nothing nearby to walk to . I never realised it was so far from the centre. Very clean premises. Staff always looked neat and tidy and proud of their hotel. Staff were always friendly and reception was a star!

Service at the cafe at tea time a little slow and language difficulty with a couple of staff. Also thought prices a bit costly. Also no wine available , only beer and cocktails. The beach was too far to walk to , and so without the shuttle service we would have been way out of budget every day.

We liked the warm atmosphere that the hotel staff provided. The pool was surrounded by greenery and it felt very cosy. The breakfast had a lot of variety for both western preferences (waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, tea) but also local (rice, soups, spices and sauces). Our room had a big balcony facing the sea. The hotel staff was very helpful when we had questions and coordinated our rides with the free hotel shuttle to the city and back.

Upon our late arrival on the first evening we decided to eat in the restaurant at the hotel. We sat down to eat but the options for vegetarians were very limited and the food lacked spicing. We had drinks at the hotel restaurant some days later but we could not finish them as there was too much sugar/honey in them. For a hotel that is far from the city we expected better food at the property.

The entire hotel is well designed and very clean. The rooms are very comfortable and they have a great rainshower. I've slept amazingly in the bed. The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing with great options of sweet and savory and asian and western food. You can get fresh fruit and bread and they even have delicious joghurt. The coffee is freshly made in a coffee machine and the eggs are prepared to order. The staff are attentive and nice, from the reception and restaurant staff to the parking attendant and house keeping.

The only negative is not about the hotel itself but it's location. The hotel is close to the beach but it's not easy to reach it because there is a big street between the hotel and the beach.

The breakfast was that of a two start hotel.. sufficient but not super.. I booked for 3 people including my daughter upon arrival they asked me to pay extra for breakfast for my daughter .. I didn't understand that as in my confirmation it stated including breakfast. But I decided not to fuzz about it.

Pool access room was the best we have had.

A bit out of town but they do have shuttle. Use "Grab" drivers as they are much cheaper than Tuk tuks. Some of the breakfast items were cold.

Spacious and clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. Pool is beautiful and breakfast was great. Staff at reception were smiley.

No shower curtain and water splashed onto dry area when showering.

Big comfortable room, good restaurant, calm atmosphere, and friendly staff

The location is pretty far from the city center. There is a free shuttle bus, but it goes only several times a day and might even forget to come for you

locations a bit far from everything but they have a shuttle that takes you to town and back every hour, so it makes up for the location.

a little way out from shopping and restaurant locations needed to rely on transport. They do offer free tuk tuk but this only runs once per hour until 7pm.
