Anantara Hua Hin Resort - SHA Certified

Nice environment, beautiful with lagoons. Quiet. Close to the sea, also there is no proper beach (but not an issue for me, and I knew beforehand). Staff is nice. Very good breakfast with variety (although quite crowded).

Minor details - but that's a 5 stars hotel so ... Room (sea view suite) was a bit dark. Not much plugs, especially near the bed. While at breakfast or lounge by the pool, orders of drinks were forgotten or took too much time. Fitness room is so so. Afternoon canapé at Lagoon Bar is quite poor and was disappointing - low quality items and not much selection. (had better experience in different hotels)

The hotel staff does a great job. The hotel is big and beautiful. Well maintained and very clean. The breakfast is rich and delicious.

There are not enough sunbeds / chairs in the pool area corresponding to the number of guests in the hotel. Please note that this hotel is far from the shopping and entertainment center, but you can order a taxi from the hotel at a cost of about 200 BTH

Everything....the facilities, customer service, the breakfast was amazing, etc....

The only thing I could say is the mosquito problem in rooms need to be addressed. Made it difficult to sleep.

We had Great holidays at Anantara, Property is very nice and Highly corteous team . We enjoyed the Breakfast, had huge vegetarian options including Indian food. Their beach side resturant is great place to be for lunch/ dinner . Their Thai resturant is Aldo good . Looby Lounge / Bar is very good n serves all meals as well . Pool Bar serves good snacks n drinks whole day and Their mocktails were great . It was perfect place for family, solo , couple holidays of all ages including corporate events.

Plz make shuttle service to market free of costs for all room category . Just a suggestion. There is nothing what we didn't like .

The grounds of the hotel, complimentary water around the pool and snacks at the Lagoon Suites were all excellent as was the breakfast. We had a birthday celebration which a special dinner by the beach and it was a beautiful setting and very nice seafood buffet.

The lunchtime menu was limited in choice and essentially the same in nearly all the restaurants that were open. My wife does not eat gluten or dairy products and there was not anything on the lunchtime menus that matched her dietary needs except for a fish salad. The kitchen exceptionally cooked some fish or Tom Yam Goong for her which was great however the lunchtime menu should be more expansive as other guests will have the same needs.

Old rustic design. The lagoon side was exceptionally beautiful. Personally for me the location was great as it is a little bit away from hustle and bustle of the town which really suited my needs. The rooms were clean and the food was amazing! Rim Nam serves the best Thai food I have had in Hua Hin! Excellent happy hour selection around multiple restaurants throughout afternoon and evening. Overall, great for people who prefer a quiet and relaxing stay.

We loved this place. Exceptional rooms, the grounds are just breathtakingly beautiful especially the architecture. The rooms is beautiful and really felt like home!

The breakfast was not great and not in line with the rest of the restaurants which we loved. So we often skipped it and slept in instead. More variation and higher quality would improve it. Things like Soy Yoghurt and more healthy options.

location, ambience and the garden around the hotel also don’t miss Rocky the parrot

the 3 bedroom villa as we thought villa but it was apartment on the 8th floor, toilets and furniture not so new, it is comfortable but old and far from where breakfast is. also we were given an offer for the spa and when we came to pay when we checked out we found original price without offer, body massage and foot massage same price which we were not told when we asked. we were told by the lady who booked the spa for us “ you don’t care about the price” we did but she never told us how much foot massage cost!!! even thought the hotel near the sea it’s difficult to swim.

the garden, lagoon, swimming pool, architectural (both interior and external) are magnificent. real holiday feeling. Breakfast is complete. Staff is super friendly. Service is great.

“no beach”. Yes there is a beach front but protected by a dyke. Water was way too high and stormy in December. Wearing hotel slippers in the suite is dangerous. The wooden floor is way too slippery. No fresh orange juice. Cocktails provide are ok but not special.

This was our 2nd visit and co-incidentally the 2nd during the last 2 weeks. Two weeks ago when we had stayed here we had a very good time. This time due to the on-going Covid 19 related travel restrictions we were not sure if we could make it to Hua Hin. We made a last minute booking literally when we stepped inside the resort and we were glad we did it. The experience during this stay was even better than the last one. As I understand , this property is the first Anantara in Thailand and it’s definitely one of those rare places which is a perfect blend of modern amenities married to classical resort with a lot of greenery and calmness around . If you are fond of places in the midst of nature then this is certainly one of them. As you spend more time this place just grows on you.You can spend the entire day inside the resort without worrying about stepping out of the resort.The pool is nice and the beach is part of the property. The buffet breakfast was excellent with great options and you have a wide variety of healthy options for those who are health conscious. We had dinner at their beach side restaurant and the food was awesome. We ordered a couple of Thai seafood dishes outside the menu and the head chef was kind enough to attend to our request personally and those dishes were certainly one of the best we had in Thailand, fresh and delicious. The service levels not just at the restaurant but at every facility in the resort were top notch. During these challenging times the staff is working hard with a smile despite the masking, distancing and all the additional restrictions which doesn’t make their jobs any easier and that’s really heartwarming. If we could give them 20 out of 10 for service then we would gladly do that. We will definitely be back here.
