Seashells Millennium Hotel

A great location. The rooms are perfectly nice and the staff were lovely. The decor in the restaurant, bar and pool area could use an update, but it’s worth pointing out that the food at the restaurant was excellent. We stuck with Indian food (since the chef is from India) and we were not disappointed. He made some really wonderful dishes.

Some of the communal area need updating, especially the downstairs lobby area with the coffee shop.

Great location, close to nice restaurants. The restaurants has great food at a reasonable price. Loved the customer service.

The hot water in the bathroom didn't seem to be working very well. The bathroom seemed a bit old and patched up. It felt like it could use some renovation.

The hotel was fine for business purposes and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

I think the breakfast could have been better but the a la carte menu was pretty good.

Customer Service

NEEDS NEW SETS OF BEDDINGS, PILLOWS, BEDSHITS, DUVETS, TOWELS THEY ARE TIRED NEEDS CHANGING TO NEW ONES. THERE IS ONLY ONE SOCKET ON THE SIDES OF THE BED, EACH SIDE SHOULD HAVE ONE. ONLY ONE CUP OF COFFEE IN THE ROOM INSTEAD OF TWO.

It is very close to many of the places I wanted to visit. Also, the staff a so nice and helpful.

The drainage in the shower should be redone because the water hardly flows when one is showering.

The breakfast was very good and also the location on second floor next to the pool side was excellent. The restuarant also had a good view.

They initially were only placing one towel as opposed to two. However, they provided an additional one on request. The shower also didn't seem to mix hot and cold water well and therefore at some instant it's only hot water flowing. The hotel is also strategically located such that one can easily access the CBD as well as farther off parts of Dar es salaam.

They really came to my rescue when I had an issue with Bolt driver. The driver couldn't speak English. Their intervention was really helpful. Much appreciated

Power cuts. Not their fault however as a hotel they need to have backup power that kicks in automatically.

The beds were extremely comfortable The breakfast was exceptional! The location was great and close to many areas to be visited The staff were extremely nice and provided great service

The rooms were a bit stuffy on arrival but this was quickly sorted out. There were no rugs in the shower, hence the bathroom could be covered in water after one took a shower There were cockroaches in the room on several occasions.

There was a variety to pick from and a balanced diet too. Loved it. The fruits were so fresh I never missed any.

To try changing the breakfast menu on different days in the food section.

Staff was very friendly, they did their best and always smiling.

A little bit oldish, and breakfast could have had more options.
