Cityinn Hotel Taipei Station Branch I

It takes only 3 minutes by walk from the MRT Exit 6. But if you have heavy suitcases, you need to use Exit 4, it has elevator. Hotel staffs always greet us with smiles and kind words. They work professionally, love it. The room is trurly sound-proofed. Staying on the second floor is a bonus as there is a decent and free hot coffee/chocolate machine (all day and night) and free instant ramen from 10 PM. All foodies in front of the hotel, i.e, Chinese pizza, vegetarian steamed buns, dumplings, rice buffet are great too! So far, my family love this place, stay again for sure.

Dehumidifier makes quiet a loud noise at night. There are few homeless guys nearby the hotel entrance, but they do no harm to us. Although there is a convenience store next to the hotel, I rather shop somewhere else as the cashier lady was super rude (throw my foods and push the shopping basket at me).

The location is extremely good. Near Taipei Main Station, all MRT and buses are there, also high-speed train and MRT direct to Taoyuan Airport. You can even check in your luggage there. It's also just next to Shin Kong mall. Although there's no restaurant in the hotel, you don't really need it as it's near to so many eateries. It also provides free biscuits and drinks throughout the day at the pantry and free instant bowl noodles at night. It has a safe in the room. Useful for us to keep our money and passports there so we aren't so worried bringing too much money walking around the city. It's not too expensive considering it's right in the centre of Taipei. Staff are helpful.

The bed and pillows aren't that comfortable. They sink. Got bed bugs bite but I'm not sure is it from this bed or the one in Alishan which I went one night before. Not so sound proof but overall still OK. The window doesn't look out to anything but a wall of the opposite building so close to us. Room is very small, hard to open two medium size luggages.

Really helpful and friendly staff. There are snacks and drinks in the pantry, laundry and nice small things like umbrellas you can borrow if it rains. There are excellent places to eat within a 2-3 min walk. We picked this place because reviews said it was quiet - it is true! Unless someone is talking in the corridors the rooms are soundproof (which is not the case for many hotels in Taipei…).

Nothing! The rooms are not big but they have everything you need. Not a big deal if you spend your whole day out in the city. Two of us stayed for almost a week and had no problems.

I only stayed for one night. It was a conviently-located hotel for my layover. Right by Taipei Main station (5 min walk) so it was easy to explore with little time in my hands, and I could catch the train back to the airport in the morning. Staff was helpful and very nice, the room was very small but clean, bathroom was spotless. Soundproofing was surprisingly good (I'm a very light sleeper!). Appreciated the snacks in the room and the free bottles of water.

Price for one night is high for quite a small room, but yeah, it's central and convenient. Still a good value when you compare to hotels around.

A short walk from Taipei train station. The staff are very kind and professional. Good pantry, water dispenser and laundry facilities. Good TV with free movies to watch.

This is our second stay and unfortunately the room we got this time round had carpeting and not the uncarpeted floors like our first stay. The carpet makes the room very dusty. Hope the hotel can remove all the carpets because their rooms without the carpets are extremely cosy, clean and well-maintained. The water dispenser is not very clean, lots of smudges and splash stains.

very convenient and take exit 4,6,8. surround with lots of foods from breakfast to lunch to dinner. you can also do your laundry if you stay long plus supper can have instant noodles. staffs were friendly and professional. very good local guide as well

great hot water pressure in the shower! fabulous location to main Taipei train station. - not too noisy even though close to main road. very friendly helpful staff. a pleasure to stay there

no drawers in the room - 5 nights is a long time for me to live out of the case with nowhere to put anything

Convenient location, 5-10 min walking distance from Taipei Main station. Friendly and helpful staff. Pantry at L2 has a microwave oven, free drinks dispenser, free cup noodles provided at night. There was a laundry room (washing machine, dryer) but I did not manage to use it.

Found a small alive ?cockroach in my room; the staff got housekeeping to clean my room and provided a door gift at the end of my stay.

The room is very new and clean. The water pressure in the shower is amazing and the drainage system is great! The self service snack area provides packet instant oats for breakfast and instant noodle after 10pm. The washing machine and dryer is a bonus! Will definitely come back if I am in Taipei in the future!!

It would've been good if the window in the room can be opened for fresh air.

Location was perfect. Very near the Z2 exit of Taipei Main Station. And although the hotel provided free amenities and little snacks, the Family Mart next door and the breakfast shops in front (Starbucks!) were so convenient. Ximending and Ningxia were also walking distance. We barely used our Easycards. Staff was also so nice and our room was always clean.
