Beautiful large room and a massive bathroom. We only came across this hotel by chance and are really glad we did. They provided secure storage for our two bicycles. The breakfast was great as well. There was a fan in the room to help with the unseasonal warm weather, and the large windows let alot of cool air in. The host are absolutely fab, this is a 'must' place to stay if you are in the area.

The room we had was clean, nice and big with a giant bathroom.

The place is clearly first and foremost geared towards gastronomy and the rooms are there to accommodate the restaurant guests. So, you feel a little out of place when you step in later at night, not having to have dinner. You literally 'step in' to the restaurant facility, so everyone is watching and you kind of escape to your room. When trying to find the place in the dark at night, the navigation system routed us unto a labyrint of very small roads and streets. Nothing to blame the place, but visitors might want to study the maps at home first.

I wish we had longer to spend here. We were just passing through and weren't in time for dinner but the breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable, large and airy with great views and all the amenities we needed. We were incredibly well looked after and my own highlight was sitting in the beautiful covered garden area with a glass of wine after a long day. A perfect stay!

Warm welcome and a relaxed, non-stuffy atmosphere. It became clear that every aspect had been carefully considered, from the decor, the background music in the dining room, the beautifully decorated eggs for breakfast (a nice touch) to the impeccable presentation of the gourmet meal. The presentation was matched by the flavours - an outstanding, truly memorable meal.

Nothing to dislike.

This place had been highly evaluated by travellers at various global travel-review websites. Not only were their ratings right, but honestly the reality exceeded them. It is worth visiting this small Swiss town of Vernayaz just to enjoy the high hospitality and wonderful dishes of this hotel and restaurant.

Enjoyed our one-night stay on the way to Italy. Clean and quiet room with beautiful mountain views. Amazing breakfast. The owners are super friendly. If you're traveling with kids, check out Western City amusement center which is a 20-minute walk away.

Nice place run by a very friendly couple. Unfortunately we weren’t able to do the dinner during our 1 night stay as this seemed like a highlight, but it was a comfortable hotel otherwise.

There were only blankets on the bed and no sheets. It was quite hot so the blanket was too much. It would have been nice to have some regular sheets. Everything else was pleasant and worked fine for a one night visit.

Our hosts were very nice and helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good.

I love everything about this hotel: comfort, coziness, hosts, breakfasts, and, finally, their dinners that are must-to-try. we come here regularly, again and again, to enjoy Valais and have an amazing dinner. highly recommended

B&B style accommodation with personable host, great food, delicious beer, beautifully designed and spacious rooms, plus a very nice garden with outdoor sitting.
