Hotel Schweizerhof Pontresina

Excellent location, staff was good, beautiful new room (3 people in a two bed, two bath room), great jetted tub, fridge, balcony. Overall an excellent visit. Expensive by our standards, but a very good value for the location.

There are no DIY facilities such as laundry or irons. This being a high end town, you pay them to do everything.

Our beautiful room with so many windows looking out on all the splendid views, spacious and super clean, with large balcony, bathrooms and a round table in the tower. Just marvelous! Really nice breakfast and dining areas, stairs, elevator and pick up service from the train station. Nice to have the Bellavita spa right acoss the street too

its always distressing when smoking is allowed on balconies because then of course, the smoke drifts onto other balconies and through the windows of other rooms. Seems like smoking should be restricted to a certain side of the building so they are all together and far away from everyone else.

Fantastic Hotel. The room was excellent staffed with shower and bathtub and separated toilet room. The beds have been very comfortable and the breakfast did not lack anything.

Can not complain about anything, maybe I need to go there again to look much clooser, smile?

The staff were absolutely lovely, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was large with a lovely view even though we were at the side of the hotel and was very clean. Other members of our party also had double rooms that were mid corridor and not as large as ours but still a good size. Breakfast was great, get there early if you don't want to miss out on the best selection of croissants but otherwise everything else was regularly topped up and the the selection and quality was great. We had the dinner in the hotel as we were off season and there was no other option and were very satisfied. The menu was limited due to the Covid situation but the food was very good. We also ate in teh onsite Thai restaurant and it was fantastic. Value for money for the room and the meals was very good. The free pass for the local transport and the pass to ride the gondola also provided great value.

It would have been nice to have a bar but given the Covid restrictions we completely understand that service was ammended.

Excellent size of luxury suite, with 2 bathrooms and a balcony. Staff were very friendly and collaborative. Free airport shuttle to pick and drop at the train station were a superb add on! Recommend. Breakfast buffet was generous and fresh.

The staff was super friendly and very responsive to requests! The second morning, upon request the previous day, they served me vegan breakfast (almond milk, almond yogurt, vegan butter and Müsli)

The bed was a bit low too the ground and basic, maybe needs a mattress topper

Reception, Breakfast and Friendliness are TOP. Room was very clean and extremely spacious. BEST HOTEL IN PONTRESINA. Palü, Sporthotel, Allegra are less friendly, more expensive and especially at Sporthotel most employees cannot speak German...

The hotel is very clean and everything looked new. The location was very good and the staff were very nice & friendly.

Despite the hotel was pet friendly, during breakfast time they didn't allow us to sit in the main restaurant. We didn't even sit in another restaurant. They served us a table in a room where they allowed kids to play.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The staff were generally helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The parking was very practical too.

The fan in our bathroom did not work. Breakfast should ideally be offered a bit earlier especially in summer.

The room is clean and comfortable. The environment is quiet. The food in the Thai restaurant was delicious.

The heating could not be regulated. It was too warm in the sleeping room. But you can ask the receptionist to low down the temperature. There is no parking slot in the hotel. Public parking is about 5 min walk and affordable.
