Grand Hotel Kronenhof

The location is wonderful as the hotel in the middle of Pontresina, yet peaceful, far from the main road and traffic noise and with a stunning view of the mountains. The building is a jewel box, inside out.

The double bedroom had two single mattresses pulled together which is disappointing given that it is a five star hotel. Reducing the hotel’s environmental footprint could receive more attention from the management (e.g., still travel size toiletries in the bathroom, etc.). The tea was overpriced for the quality we received.

Our recent stay at Kronenhof hotel was highlighted by the exceptional staff, building history and the amazing facilities. From the moment we arrived, their warmth and hospitality made us feel welcomed. Each member of the team and specifically the concierge team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We will definitely stay again at Kronenhof when we revisit St. Moritz.

The hotel is really beautiful and the room, wellness area were exceptional. Very friendly staff and lovely spot if you are looking for quiet or outdoor sports.

For this price, it’s really unacceptable that tea and coffee facilities aren’t available in the room. At least you could order a cup of coffee to the room. It’s also unacceptable that in the 21st century there is a dress code for a meal that is half board. We are on holiday and don’t need to get dressed up if we don’t feel like it. We just want to chill out. I found this so out of touch with reality and offensive.

‏Everything in the hotel is wonderful, luxurious and elegant, the staff were very classy and they would do anything to serve us, it is one of the best hotels I have seen, especially the employee Angel was at the top of the splendor in dealing, and the restaurant is very beautiful and the restaurant staff were very classy, ​​especially Katrina and Michelle, And on our last night they decorated the room with flowers for our wedding, thank you very much to the hotel

Wonderful location and facilities complemented by impeccably professional and friendly staff. I left my backpack behind with medication by mistake. The staff were kind enough to catch me at the next town to bring me the medicines. Talk about going the extra mile ( or two).

If you don't like this hotel you don't like life.

Old world luxury hotel experience with modern amenities. A large staff will take care of all your requests, which even takes a little bit of getting used to in today's DYI world. Highly recommend the multi-course gourmet dinners at the Grand Restaurant.

Location is in Pontresina, which is a bit off St Moritz and the main ski areas. However, largely compensated by well organized shuttle services offered by the hotel.

It was a fair distance from St moritz. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service which I found odd. The taxi for a 7-8 km ride is €80!

An amazing experience of class, sophistication, top professional service with an old world charm. Staff was excellent, rooms immaculately. Location the best.

They were amazing with kids and met every need.

The only dinner restaurant is jacket and gown required with no other opportunity for more casual dining unless you left the hotel. This is a challenge for those traveling casually.
