Hotel Strela

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were very nice and clean. Hotel staff - especially Francesca - were very friendly. Location off the busy streets but quick walk to station and restaurants

Was a little loud from the courtyard in the evenings. Was also the weekend of mountain bike race so not totally unexpected nor problematic.

The hotel is very nice, the staff was polite. We had a simple double room on the 1st floor that had all that was needed. The room was cold but we turned the heating on and it got warmer. Breakfast was good, you have musli, eggs, cheese, some meat, tea and coffee, juices, all the most important things.

What I didn’t like was the food for dinner in the restaurant Giodavin - the staff was nice and friendly but the food disappointing, i think in any canteen you can get a better Schnitzel. The side dish of my partner was supposed to be risotto but instead it was half boiled rice with no taste. I get it that it is Davos, but still because it’s not the most expensive place in town, it doesn’t mean that the food should be of low quality. I would say it’s bad management in the restaurant because the waiter apologised for bringing me the salad without dressing and schnitzel with cranberry sauce without it, so thank you for apology. Maybe it was a bad day for the cook. My advice - take a pizza takeaway, it will save you money and nerves.

Great breakfast, clean, spacious and modern single room. Efficient and quick check-in and check-out. Restaurant downstairs is also very nice with friendly service.

Staff is visibly unhappy although always courteous. No waxing table in the ski room.

Everything was fantastic. The room was really cosy. Great breakfast. Only a 10 min walk to the train station and ski lift. There was a shuttle bus every morning and evening to the ski lifts. Highly recommend

Quite hot in the rooms, would have been good to have temperature control.

It was a really great hotel. The room was the best part, was new and super equipped! The bed comfortable, the room super clean and the hotel staff always available to answer any of my questions. Unfortunately I did not stay for too long but I’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast was on the other hand not as expected. There was not so much choice of sweets (no cakes or croissants) and no english/american breakfast (for example eggs). It is also true that I did not asked for it and maybe they could have provided it.

Great quiet room with big singular bed, friendly staff, very very clean (big thanks to the cleaning team, they are very precise) and freshly renovated bathroom although it has some 50^s realm to it. Breakfast is fantastic, sauna is brand new, clean and comfortable and a bike room for the road and mtb bikes.

The view from the room on the backside was a little less and there is not enough parking space in front of the hotel, I had to park somewhere else (view minutes walking) but it didn't cost anything so I cannot really complain about it.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfy rooms and great breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice cat :)

They initially asked me to pay extra even though I had paid in full through Booking. When I checked, they'd increased the room rate by 10 Euros per room. Took a while to clear it up but go there in the end.

Room was small so difficult to move within, but not unusual for a ski resort hotel

Excellent espresso, cappuccino etc at breakfast thanks to a Franke 400 machine. High quality albeit limited breakfast spread. Rooms in the new wing are beautiful with excellent bedding (hard mattresses) and great bathroom facilities.

Location means that some uphill hiking is required upon return from skiing the mountains. However, the hotel offers an excellent shuttle service to Jakobshorn base station and drop off at the bus stations for the other mountains in the morning.

Small scale, well equipped hotel with a history. Nice lounge/bar/library with a lot great quality books (which is rare in hotel libraries). Fine breakfast, very nice staff. I would certainly go there again.
