Crans Ambassador

I had a wonderful stay in the hotel with 2 small kids. We really enjoyed breakfast as well as the Lodge and Muna restaurants. The staff across the hotel is very helpful and friendly. The sports shop that assists with ski rental and or storage are extremely helpful. We also used the swimming pool facilities which have beautiful mountain views. The whole experience during the stay was hassle free and relaxing.

Almost everything was good

There no AC in the rooms, but apparently this is common for that area. Lady on the reception was very nice and did all her best to help. But it was still hot in the rooms. A bit strange size of portions in the restaurant, you never know how big or small will it be. The most bright example was a pizza size. Usually if you order a pizza and size is not mentioned, you expect to get at least 30cm diameter pizza, the one we received was 15cm… literally… on our complain the answer was that this is their normal pizza size, which was not mentioned when they took an order. The evening before we ordered pizza with another taste and size was normal.

very close to ski lift, a lot of space and amenities (pool, gym, sauna, hammam, ski room and shop, a bar with live music, 3 restaurants, etc), a large free car park in front of the hotel also makes it quite easy to come and go

sport machines in the gym which feature a screen should be replaced: it is almost impossible to click on screens to start/stop /select a practice, they are totally outdated

nice views, good spa and saunas

small bed. / 35chf charge for a small 5kg dog with no service for the dog. no dog bed or dog bowls and no dog snacks. I’ve been in 5star hotels where they provide all that for chf 20. An 11 year old child needs a seperate bed and eats breakfast and is free. so why charge 35 chf for a 5kg dog and no additional services are provided.

I must admit that 2 people made our stay very pleasant. Julia, who was managing the breakfast and Paolu who was always willing to help. The pool and spa were very nice.

During weekends Friday and Saturday there is a band playing music. It was too loud.

The view is magnificent

There is no diner menu/ al la card but just the general lunch menu in the evening, The service during diner was very poor. Our table was set for 5 pax instead of three. Our appetitive got served with main course… and so on, in general the evening staff needs more training. The manager was also not visible and was sort of hiding behind the bar instead of interact with guest. F&B is not 5 star what you would expect from a 5 start hotel.

The staff were SO hospitable and friendly. The room was so comfortable. The finer details such as complimentary chocolate muffins as a welcome treat, bath loofah, salts and candles for the bath tub, made a big difference. The spa was just fabulous particularly the sauna and Hammam. They were so organized booking were required, this ensures there wasn't a crowd and you did not have to share the sauna, and Hammam with others. I felt so relaxed after. The restaurant was good too, we really enjoyed the Valais region Tomato fondue as well as the mushroom fondue, highly recommended.

Staff was extremely kind and proactive ! especially the shuttle service and the "ski room" one.

price are high. Especially if you come with your kids. No real family option. You have to double the price.

Location is perfect, right next to the ski lift. Restaurants, bar, outside terrace are very nice. Our room was very comfortable. Stuff is very attentive (except one lady that served breakfast, she was not in a good mood for some reason).

We didn’t like breakfast.. not sure if it is due to COVID there was limited selection or it is a standard practice. No hot jacuzzi in the spa area and no outdoor pool/ hot tab.

The hotel is perfectly located with amazing views on the mountains and city and very close to the gondola which takes you to the slopes. The staff is very useful and friendly. Great facilities with great organisation during these special times, makes you feel safe and protected. The bar and restaurant serve very good food with reasonable prices. Will definitely come back!
