Breakfast was excellent (but I lacked veggies) - fresh croissants, buns, bread, good selection of teas and coffees, freshly cut fruit salad. I am thankful to a lady staff who changed my room after i shared my concern about bed bugs, thank you so much.(and im not saying they have them, i was just afraid they might so i asked) Location is also good, right next to train station. Huge selection of tv channels

Only one staff person talked in English, the rest spoke no English and were even rude!! (Except for short hair lady with glasses, she was great) I shared my concern about bed bugs and the woman who spoke no English dared to argue with me about something she did not understand, basically tried to argue the fact that I booked a budget room so I should expect bugs.. Very unprofessional!!! It is also quite noisy in the morning and also when a neighbor takes a shower, you hear all the water going down the drain

Location and the room. We're family of 5 and was given the top front room facing the Lake. It was spacious, and you have the whole balcony. There's a mini kitchenette, fridge, and dining table. But we didn't cook as there were no pans/pots or utensils. We use the big fridge, which is very handy to put some food. The breakfast was OK. No hot food, though, except for the cooked/boiled eggs.

A bit noisy given the location but we don't mind.

Perfect location. Right in front of train station, and overlooks Lake Brienz itself. There's a kiosk with basic necessities plus 'coop' supermarket, an ATM and a few restaurants close by. Additionally, The location is right beside the popular steam train (Brienz Rothorn Bahn) that brings you up the mountain sightseeing.

Room was spacious for me and my family. Breakfast was great as well. Staff were friendly and very patient.

Everythingg was perfect except that there didn't appear to be any fan or A/C in the room. Had to sleep with the window open. Not a big deal, but there was a lot of noise from outside because our room was right in front of the main street and train station.

The service! From front desk to restaurant, to room cleaning, all the staff was amazingly professional. Great location.

Can be noisy if guests aren't respectful or children are crying. Maybe consider Tea kettle in the room.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The location could not be more perfect. The size of the room was great & generous. We particularly enjoyed the really good restaurant (sumptuous dinner and very good breakfast).

We felt that our rooms could have gained a lot by a modernization. Carpets seemed a bit out of date. And the lovely classic chair desparately needs a new upholstery.

We stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom, and it was just fine. Location is exceptional - train and boat on Lake Brienz just footsteps away. Staff was very helpful and we were allowed to leave our luggage after checkout while we toured nearby. Breakfast was ample and good.

Very nice hotel just at the train and boat station of Brienz and Brienz-Rothron Bahn is just at your window . Staffs were very cordial. Room is super cozy. Loved the hotel and Lake Brienz.

Guest card was of no use.

Near to the train station. Convenient of checking in and out. Near to scenic attractions.

Breakfast should cater to more varieties of egg instead of hard boil eggs only.

Hotel is next to Brienz railway station, there's train to Interlaken OST every 30 minutes. Breakfast was OK.

Breakfast menu was same on all days. Could have been better if they had any options for pastries.
