MAD Mount Hotel & Spa

I appreciated the openness with which leadership shared their values and what drove them: Adriana and her husband Pedro claimed they support the local economy, from the building of the hotel with materials exclusively sourced in Switzerland and a majority of Swiss labor. Thanks to sustainable construction materials, Swiss-made solar panels on the roof, and the use of wood pellets for heating, the hotel will allegedly be carbon negative. As far as operations go, Nelio said staff got wages significantly higher than the industry average. While I did not verify these claims, this does seem to reflect on the whole staff, who were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the lengths to which Susana went to support my breakfast experience and Raduan's cocktails were amazing. The Raspberry Sour is a must!

MAD MOUNT Hotel opened the day before I arrived. Saying everything was perfect would be a bit of a stretch, but the whole team worked hard to make up for the few minor quirks, such as the lack of a hair dryer or toothbrush glass. Hardly anything significant.

Trendy cool hotel, beautiful view. Nice staff. The spa is definitely a great plus as well! Breakfast is good and the lady is super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a comfortable stay in beautiful Nendaz

Small feedback re: the spa. From the road you can look directly into the spa so it's not so great privacy wise. The door to the outside jacuzzi slams shut very loud and because it is next the Relax area, a stopper or silencer on the door would be nice :) Maybe a fridge or coffee/tea facilities in the room would be nice to add

Amazing location (50 meters of ski lifts). amazing facilities for a 3 star hotel (spa, breakfast, ski lockers, bar and restaurant). The staff is so helpful and nice which makes your stay even nicer. The room is spacious and the beds incredible comfortable. the menu for the afterski is a must since it offers tasty food which makes one want to stay in the terrace. Definitely a value for money for Swiss standards and a place to come back to. The check in took 1 minute and I got my key on my mobile.

Very convenient location, literally 2 min away from the ski lift. Super comfortable beds and complete wellness area included in the price.

Not much to complain about really, we would recommend it for 1 or 2 nights, but otherwise a bit overpriced for what it is. Just to name something breakfast is good but not a lot of variety and can get repetitive after 2 days. Spa is really good but the après-ski music is a bit disturbing since it is right above it.

Rooms are comfortable, well thought out and have everything you need. Loved the breakfast and bar area around Apres had a good atmosphere. every one of the staff made us feel very welcome! The spa was the real highlight - the whole thing really well thought through. incredibly relaxing

bunks were a little difficult to get in and out of for larger, less flexible of us

Excellent hotel, friendly personal and manager, helpful all the way!

The rooms were too wqm but this was resolved by opening slightly the windows :-). The spa facilities were excellent.

Fantastic hotel, lovely staff and great restaurant.

There wasn’t any airflow in the rooms, they got quite stuffy. Couldn’t open the window on weekend night due to live music outside.

Hotel is OK, very good for skiers. The only one problem - there is no space to dry wet thinks after ski day - floor heating is not very good for drying your gloves :-(

internet connection either via normal network or wifi was not very stable/good

Room interior with wood finish makes us feel very cozy.

Shower doesn't have any partition/curtain to block water splashing in the bathroom.
