Limmathof Baden - Historisches Haus & Spa

Wonderful spa (adults only - so really relaxing). Spacious stylish and cosy room. Welcoming and helpful staff. Central location just a short walk from the train station.

Everything was perfect

Loved the spa, the room was lovely and proximity to great restaurants. Staff were very kind and we really enjoyed the room - which was tastefully decorated. Bed was comfy. Nice stroll along the river to the main town.

Taking 3 flights of stairs to the room, breakfast was in a completely separate building across the bridge and on the other side of the river - not optimal. Also position of the bed was directly under the window and light flooded in and onto our heads in the morning. Location was good, but still quite a distance from the main town centre.

It was a charming hotel with nice private facilities which we use it on the first day. The staff were very nice and accommodating as well as letting us aware of additional things that we can take advantage of.

The lighting of the room as well as the sun blockers. Too dark lighting at night and we woke up too early because of the sun. No lift but it is expected since it is an old building. Not for the elderly who have trouble walking up the stairs. 1

Reception staff is great, friendly, professional, and very efficient if any concern needs to be addressed. Perfect location overlooking the river, within a short walking distance to the new beautiful public thermal baths. Spacious, clean and modern rooms. Overall excellent hotel, I will be back.

The breakfast served in the "partner" restaurant is a disgrace. I have never seen such a poor breakfast in any of the 3 and 4 stars hotels I have visited in Switzerland. Not only is the choice very limited, but the quality of what is offered is extremely low. Imagine you go to the cheapest supermarket and buy the cheapest products you can find, that's what you get every morning there. If you book a room for one night only, then maybe you can survive this ordeal, but don't count on having a pleasant experience. As a food lover, I was more than disappointed with it.

Comfortable, spacious rooms, everything very close. Very Relaxing Spa! The personel was very kind. I forgot something in the hotel. The hotel found it and informed me. Great service! Thank you

The breakfast was a bit under the high general standard of the hotel. The tomatoes at the breakfast were not washed, the scrambled eggs overcooked. The coffee and the bread were really good however!

We had a beautiful suite that was very clean and it always smelled very good. The spa is small but nice and the staff was very friendy - the location is perfect, many restaurants and the city are very easy to reach on foot.

The breakfast at the Italian restaurant (partner restaurant) was ok and a bit unkind. The restaurant next door (Kaffi Rabe) would be much better and finer.

Beautiful old hotel with an exceptional spa! I believe my stay included access to the spa and breakfast. It was a little pricey but Switzerland is an expensive country! Great location right on the river and short walk to Forty Seven Spa and the town of Baden. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was fine nothing special but comfortable. I would stay here again!

Lovely spa

I received an email threatening to charge me chf 10 because I hadn't returned the room card I wasn't asked for this when I checked out and if I had instead received a polite email requesting I mail it back, I would have been happy to do so

The staff were so kind and very professional, they make this hotel special. The spa was very clean and surpassed our expectations. The suite with balcony overlooking the Limatt was amazing, newly redecorated and very comfortable.

Just 2-3 minutes walk between the historical building and new wing where the restaurant is situated, it’s an acceptable distance. The restaurant is cozy with friendly staff!
