Comfy bed and nice decor. Good shower. Room rate included breakfast which was lovely. Very extensive choice of freshly prepared food.. Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced for Sweden. Restaurant buzzing even on a Monday night. Located near the lake and 15 min walk from the fabulous castle/national portrait gallery.
Our room was ground floor and next to the carpark which was a little disheartening. However the external sound proofing really good which is more than could be said for internal. The neighbours could be clearly heard and we had a very loud man next door. Fortunately after about 11pm it became very quiet and it was a peaceful night but the sound insulation was a concern. No complementary tea/coffee facilities.

The general atmosphere of the place is great ! The room is very spatious and the best exceptionnally confortable ! We also had dinner and breakfast, and both were very well prepared and delicious. We appreciated the fast that most (if not all?) products are local and organic. We can highly recommand this hotel.
The bathroom was a little too small compared to the rest of the room. Also, the red wine we ordered with our diner wasn't at right temperature (it was above 20°C so room temp), but this was corrected as soon as I had kindly asked the waitor about it.

Breakfast was great, however, there was a bit of an electricity problem. Griddles and toaster were too much together for the set up.
Maybe add English on the menu as well as Swedish. Most places do. My husband and I had a bit of trouble figuring out items on the menu, but the waitress helped. However, she didn't know English words for some of the items, either.

No tea making in room or access in main hotel. Indeed, doors locked between parts of hotel. Stayed at Vadstena Kloster Hotel last year, much nicer.

Good location & the restaurant served nice food!
Our room was in another building & we had to walk back & forth some distance to eat breakfast & dinner , which was a nuisance in the rain! Also the curtains in the room didn’t fit properly & let in a lot of light at night and you could hear everything the people next door said & did!!
