First Hotel Brommaplan

Nice stay at First Brommaplan. The room (and especially the bathroom) was a bit smaller than expected - I should have upgraded! - but it had everything which we needed for our short stay in Stockholm. The hotel is easy to get to with the metro/airport shuttle bus etc. and within ca 15 minutes you are in the city center.

Breakfast was included and it was okay but just lacked that bit extra. The juice did not taste of anything, I tried the ginger shot but it did not taste of ginger, don´t really know what it was? I would rather have a fantastic fresh tasting orange juice than two options of something tasting of nothing.

I chose this hotel because I read that breakfast was really delicious - and it was, there were a few vegan options as well. Room was clean, properly-organized and well lit with even two windows overlooking the street. Windows are sound-proof, the whole place is quiet and you can get a decent sleep there. The staff was really helpful and I had a lot of questions. Hand soap smelled so nice. And there is a free coffee from the machine that you can enjoy in the room or take outside. The stairs in the building are really comfortable to climb up and down if you are avoiding the elevator. Thing to note - I made my reservation just one day in advance and this hotel was half the price of what city-centre hotels were offering for reservations in such a sort notice. Also, there's a really nice restaurant just at the corner.

The hotel is not centrally located, but very good value for money. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, staff was kind, and the metro station is a few metres away. We didn't mind the commute to the centre (roughly 30 mins). The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a lot of variety and good quality. Free coffee served around the clock. A nice rooftop terrace to hang out.

The breakfast room was completely full on Saturday, we didn't have a place to sit and people kept coming in. No staff member was there so we had to go around and ask people to split their tables into two. Ended up sitting in a little corner stuck between a wall and a piano

Wonderful rooftop terrace to watch the sunset from! The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. The girl at the reception was very kind and told us everything in detail! Gamla Stan is only 20 minutes away by metro, but the area is very quiet and pleasant. There is a large park next to the hotel. The room itself was exactly as advertised, perhaps even better. The hotel has a buffet breakfast, but we left early in the morning. So they packed breakfast for us to take with us. Everything was very tasty and cute! Thank you very much for the wonderful emotions from me and my son!

We were scheduled to get in after reception close time and the hotel were incredibly accomodating; giving us very detailed directions and instructions to allow us to get into our room after hours. The complimentary hot chocolate we could enjoy from the foyer after a delayed flight out of London was a dream. The breakfast was delicious each morning, with lots of options, the room was very clean and very comfortable for our needs, the location was brilliant - with a station about 5 minutes walk away, we could easily travel in and out of the city each day of our stay. Great onsite team - lots of enthusiastic conversations of help and recommendations, happy to store luggage for their guests who wanted to enjoy a few additional hours in the city between check out and fly out, and a team who took the medical requirements of my friend seriously and with great kindness. Highly recommended.

Perfect location with a very short walk from Brommaplan station. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Very accomodating check in. Variety of breakfast choices. The room is clean with very comfortable bed and sufficient pillows. You can open the window in summer and when you close the window it’s sound proof. A fan is provided. I was a bit skeptical about the shower partition but it works very well in protecting water splashing when showering. The Sorbon restaurant next door is also a must to visit. I will come back staying here again.

The hotel is in a great location, the subway is close, there is a McDonald's, several markets and the bus station is very close. The staff at the hotel was excellent, kind, and always available. I liked the common terrace and the lobby the most where you can enjoy drinking coffee and reading a book in peace and quiet.The breakfast was excellent and there was a lot of choice of food, there was 24/7 coffee in the hotel, and the room was great and in order to have it cleaned you have to ask the reception staff a day before.

This is a lovely hotel and great value for money - it is much cheaper than the city centre hotels but very easily accessible, only 20 minutes away on the metro, of which the station is just a few mins walk away and the metros are very frequent and run until the early hours of the morning. There is a cosy communal area where you can sit and read/chat/watch tv and a hot drinks machine available 24/7. I arrived when the reception was closed but clear instructions were left for me to check myself in and find my room. Breakfast is exceptional with a wide variety: different breads, croissants, cold meats, cheese, various yoghurts and millks, fruit, smoothies, waffles, cooked items....! Staff very friendly and helpful especially Rachel.

One day that housekeeping came into my room they accidentally threw away a bag of my things thinking it was rubbish! front of house staff were very apologetic and managed to retrieve it though so all was well in the end.

The breakfast was very good with various options. The location was not so perfect but it was a quite area and near the metro station with good connection to center. The room that we stayed in the 3rd floor needed a renovation compared to the other room that a friend of us stayed at the 5th floor. Most probably they have started renovate some rooms. However, there is a good value for money.

The furnitures in the room were old but in good condition. The other room had a more modern design.

The property is 30 minutes away from city centre. However, there are multiple public transport services just 2 minutes away that take you directly to the city centre. the rooms were quite spacious and clean! Beds were comfortable, water was hot and the room was warm. The wifi signal was good as well. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are some restaurants near the property, as well as supermarkets. The Westfield mall of Scandinavia is just 15 minutes away. Wonderful stay!
