Quality Hotel Ekoxen

We liked the location, the facilities at the hotel and the breakfast. The location was perfect with regard to our location for work, as well as the city centre and possibilities for making walks.

There was no way to ventilate in the room because the windows did not open. In addition, one could not regulate the temperature and air refreshment. Being with 2 people for 3 days in the same room it became a bit warm and stuffy. Furthermore I was taking a meeting in the bridge area on the second floor and the wifi was breaking up constantly. There were no problems with WIFI in the hotel room itself.

Your Wi-Fi connection is terribly poor in the rooms, including my colleagues room we had to sit in the corridor chatting & working. Other guests thought we are stupid working in the corridor & at times chatting with our family members. That was honestly sad. I had asked for a room that carter's for my needs as a person with permanent physical disabilities, your front desk lady (I still remember her name & face) told me to move stuff around by myself, I didn't like that.

For some reason, our booking via booking.com was not found from the reservation system at the hotel but the receptionist took really good care of the situation and arranged us a new booking. Even late check-out request was added and overall the situation was handled very professionally without stress or negativity. The hotel garage was full as we got there quite late but we were guided to a nearby parking lot, which was a good solution as well. There were a large common area, like a living room, for hotel guests with sofas, arm chairs, board games, reading and snack bar. There was also a bar area available with cosy atmosphere. The breakfast was amazing and had incredible amount of options for all diets. There's a large park next to the hotel, which was nice as we were traveling with a dog.

The room didn't have AC, which was a bit unfortunate as our stay was during a heat wave. However, it was possible to fully open the windows and cool down the room that way. Our room was on the ground floor and the window faced the inner yard, so we were a bit "exposed" with windows wide open but it was ok as the inner yard was not in use during the night.

We arrived here after a long day of traveling by car. To be honest, when we booked the place, there was nothing else available in the area below 150 EUR so we didn't expect much. But from arrival we enjoyed our stay with my wife and young children a lot. Parking was available on site in the garage below the building for a small extra fee of about 15 EUR. The room had two comfortable double beds and a spacious bathroom. It was very functional and clean. What wowed us the most was a the location. Just 500m from the center and a fantastic park with playground for the kids basically in the backyard. Breakfast was included in the price and was abundant and fresh continental buffet. Would visit here again.

The garage didn't smell great, but we were not going to hang around there, so no problem.

Our stay here was excellent! The location is superb, close to everything, yet in a quiet and clam area adjacent to the main park. The hotel is very fresh and the room was spacious and very well furnished. Even though there were many families with small kids staying, there was no noice from other rooms. Breakfast was also great.

There was no fridge or coffee/tea making equipment in the room. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

The room and bathroom felt really clean. Shower-head height was adjustable which I love since I'm a bit taller. There was a power-outlet right beside the bed which made it very convinent. Overall great experience

The window is split up into two pieces, the smaller part of the window did not close fully so I could hear the outdoor sounds sometimes, though it came some breezes through they were not disturbing beacuse I could cover it with the long curtains.

The staff was lovely! When we asked to leave our luggage the staff let us check in early, which was a very happy surprise. The breakfast was quite nice, with also some options for vegan/gluten free diets etc. The walk to Stora Torget was about ten minutes.

woud have liked a better shower, but it was decent nonetheless.

Nice hotel, got quite a big room for 2 adults and a child! Very satisfied with breakfast at the hotel. There are about 15 car spaces in the underground garage. All in all I can recommend the hotel 👍

Strange that there was no lock in the bathroom. Even though there is a garage, but it was very tight to park,not so much space between cars.

Breakfast was very extensive and evening drinks at the bar are highly recommended

With a 1 week stay and not changing the towels every 2 days when we had asked. Asking at the reception yourself is also fine

Great location in town, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant are both good and the breakfast excellent. the staff were friendly and very accommodating.

No really a complaint, but they really should be fitting USB charge points in the room!!
