Clarion Collection Hotel Slottsparken

Renovated a couple years ago, so very modern and clean! Comfortable room with a view of the park. Staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel is about 15 minutes' walk from the train station.

Dinner food was hit or miss, but it was included so I can't complain too much. Some of the food was very tasty, and other times it was bland/oversalted/under- or overcooked. The windows facing the roadside got quite noisy over the holiday weekend, as there were young people making noise outside and cars/motorbikes racing late at night.

Everything was quite nice. The food was very good and plenty. Wery clean and good staff.

Minus- it’s hopeless to get any answers when you call to the hotel. I tried for two weeks different days - no answer!!! We tried to call on our way about how to park the car and we also want to book the bubble-pool - no answer! That’s NOT good! The receptionist must answer…the calling guests are also guests!

+ Staff are friendly, helpful, resourceful in finding solutions + Wide selection of breakfast choices + Dinner is OK, considering it is part of the room price. They even have fika offers and can get coffee/tea anytime (not that I did it but good for guests).

- Not clean enough in our room, but the hotel is aware of it and working on improving cleanliness in general.

The property was perfectly located for my needs for town access. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was exactly what you would want at breakfast and dinner. Very comfortable and tidy room with the added class of Fika and plenty of hot drinks through the day.

We found our room rather cramped. We stayed 3 nights, missed the bed table on left side. Surprised that there wasn’t ventilation in the bathroom. For several days the fridge wasn’t cold and the AC didn’t kick in. We cooled the room by having a window part open.

- very nice staf - close to the city center - breakfast and dinner are included in the reservation - the size of the room was really good

- a bit noisy area especially at early morning - the cleaning could be better - the dinner was bad with no variety of options

I loved the cozyness. And the fact that both evening coffe and cake and dinner was included made it even more cozy and a sense of home. usually restaurants in hotels can be quite empty in the evening but in this hotel it was many people and very nice atmosphere. Also really helpful staff everywhere!

Central location. Breakfast and evening meal included and was good.

Unfortunately the heat/cold facilities in the room was broken so the room was hot. They did supply a fan on request.

To enter the Jacuzzi on the rooftop one needs to book the spa for 200 Sek/1 hour. This was not clear to me when I booked the hotel

The bathroom has heated floor and its spotless clean. The breakfast and the dinner included were tasty, had good options to choose. Staff was always smiling, energic.

The matress on the bed, which was comfy, glided a lot. Shower splashed water everywhere, luckily with the heated floor
