Exe Boston

Big hotel, impressive bathroom, good WIFI connection, good value for money, regular good quality cleaning. Restaurant food was good. We had dinner once in hotel. Close walkable distance to city centre. Grocery shop (Mercadona), cafes and restaurants near the hotel. Matrass on extra bed is very good. It's good to have Mini fridge(mini bar), AC and safe.

Staff in hotel restaurant don't speak English. only 1 menu could be found in English in restaurant. If you switch to English hotel app the room service menu still in Spanish. No kettle and hot drinks in a room for 4 star hotel is disadvantage in my opinion. You can use shower only if you slightly unscrew shower head otherwise it's turns under pressure. Window in our room was a bit dodgy, once it opened itself under wind blow. The way how extra bed is located is very odd.(please see photo) but it's big and comfy.

We stayed only for one night and had a very pleasurable experience. The check in staff, Claire, was so kind and friendly and took care of us very quickly. Although we arrived late evening to check in, they had our rooms ready and available to us. The hotel is obviously quite old but the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had so much space, it was great. I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi, it felt so luxurious as did the shower products. The room was well appointed with sofa, TV, enough blankets, gummies and 4 large bottles of water. We will definitely return to this hotel as the value for money is excellent.

Everything about my stay was perfect - except for wishing I could have stayed longer and that the Internet was weak at times.

This is the third time we have stayed in the EXE Boston and we have always been pleased with the hotel and staff. Our room and bed were very comfortable, staff were as pleasant as always and the buffet breakfast lived up to expectations. We had dinner in the small hotel reataurant and this was excellent. I recommend the garlic and lime prawns! At times we took a taxi to the plaza de Espana, from where much of the fantastic centre is easly accessible. Taxi cost 4 euros. Walking from the hotel to the centre at a moderate pace took 25 minutes. there is so much to see in this city and a visit to the mudejar palace Aljaferia is a must. Taxi from the hotel to the palace was 6.7 euros and it was an easy walk from the palace to the centre of the town. We will be going back to Zaragoza as there is so much to see there, and we willl be staying at the Boston. Parking at the hotel is easy with plenty of room. There is a taxi rank almost outside the hotel.

Some of the public parts of the hotel need a facelift, but his wasn't true of our room or the surrounding areas. The hotel could have been better staffed, especially in the food serving areas. Sometimes the walk back to the hotel seemed draggy.

Excellent hotel with underground parking (decent sized posting spaces too). Remember the parking entrance is on a side road - I suggest you enter "FLORES LAZARO BAETA" on Google Maps as that is roughly located opposite to the hotel car park entrance. The family interconnecting rooms were very large with a sitting room separating them. Both rooms have their own bath/toilet. The location is good and you can reach most of the tourist places within a 10-15 minutes walk. The breakfast had a good array of options. Service was courteous and efficient throughout the hotel.

The wi-fi could be a little patchy in the bedrooms located furthest away from the reception desk.

Food in restaurant excellent & reasonably priced. Location was good. Bed very comfortable & lovely toiletries in bathroom.

No soundproofing in rooms. You can hear next door when they flush toilet or have a shower. View from window was looking towards brick wall of other side of hotel. Details of where to park would have been helpful prior to arrival. Lighting not great in room & switches confusing.

Huge bedroom, a separate sitting room and dressing room. More like a US hotel than a spanish one. Bathroom was also huge with a big bath and overhead shower. Comfortable beds and effective a/c. Great location with many bars and restaurants a 10 min walk and less than 20 mins into the centre of the old town. Parking under the hotel, paid for, but that is what you expect for a city hotel.

Quite a big step into the massive circular bath to get into the shower. Had to take real care getting in and out.

We were allowed to check in a couple of hours early which was greatly appreciated! The reception staff was wonderful and friendly! My partner and I stayed in a junior suite. The decoration looks very outdated and we felt like we had gone back in time. The suite is huge with a walk-in closet, sitting area, bedroom, and incredibly big bathroom with double sinks and a jacuzzi tub. Everything was extremely clean and the bed was VERY BIG and comfortable. We decided to have breakfast at the hotel the next morning. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes various sliced meats (fuet, chicken, turkey), lots of cheeses, a wide variety of fruit, four different types of bread, cereals, yogurts, juices, teas, coffee.

The breakfast staff could have been a bit nicer. Lots of standing around when they could have been clearing dishes. I walked up to one of the female servers and asked if there was any ketchup and she rudely pointed and said "Hay!" and immediately walked away from me. It wasn't ketchup but a sweet tomato paste used to make tomate con pan. She was so abrupt that I didn't want to bother asking anyone else. My partner asked the host and he gave us two packets.

A comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff, especially at breakfast. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Bedroom was spotlessly clean. Underground secure parking with lift service to bedroom floors.

Lobby area and vast public spaces pretty much deserted as no bar service available. A covid issue maybe? My room looked out on a neglected and depressing courtyard that was full of weeds and windblown rubbish. Not a four star experience! (room 318). As the hotel certainly wasn't full and I checked in early, it was disappointing to be allocated a room of this type.

The room and bathroom were great, plenty of space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety and all was fresh. We used the restaurant for the first night as we were tired but the choice was limited.

More pillows in the room, more choice in the restaurant. Info brochure in the room about services instead of scanning!

Expansive suite with comfortable settee in the heart of the city. Great parking under the hotel. Gluten free breakfast served with care, really appreciated that. Check in and out fast and easy.

Would so love a kettle and tea provided in the room. A little maintenance needed in the bathroom, stiff taps and twisted shower attachment need attention.
