This hotel was easy to find and the directions to the parking garage were easy to follow. Secure parking at the hotel for our motorbike and you walk directly into the back of the hotel from the garage. Check in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly the restaurant was closed so we had to find somewhere in the main town area to eat. It’s only a few minutes walk to the Plaza and restaurants where you will find the cathedral and the path up to the castle. There is a supermarket just around the corner from the hotel which was handy. The hotel has so much character about it. It was great to see the old photos of the hotel before the renovations were done. Our room was very cool which was welcoming in the heat at the time. The air con in the room worked great. Everything was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. I guess most of the rooms only have small windows but you could just see the swimming pool from our room. We didn’t hear any noise from the other rooms or outside of our room. I like everything about this hotel and the location. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. There was a coach party staying but they had their breakfast in a different room from us. We would stay here again for sure.

Nothing to dislike. It would have been nice to eat in their own restaurant though but it was closed.

The hotel more than matched our expectations, it is an old convent restored as a hotel with many interesting features, our room was spacious, very clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good with an excellent choice of both continental and cooked options. Location is very good within an easy walk of the historic centre.

There is not very much to dislike about this hotel, our only disappointment was the dinner we had in the Restaurant which was cold and uninspiring.

Good sized room, beautiful central quadrangle and a fantastic job on the ruin the place used to be. Historic elements included a piece of mediaval fresco in our room. Unusually quie for S0pain!e PLEASE NOTE. You don't need to buy the parking place, because there is either parking on the square outside (unless you've brough a very large vehicle,) or a little bit down the road away from the old town. If you don't mind a 3-5 minute walk you can save 15 eurous a day! Pack light - save loads....

No evening meals, breakfast seemed pricey, but there are plenty of good places nearby. Swimming pool barely had room to drown a mouse. Three strokes and your reach the other end. It's not normally open until July, which seems a wasted opportunity for those used to cold water dips.

We really liked this hotel, the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. Nice size pool with plenty of sun lounges. Location was good, it was an easy walk to Plaza Mayor with lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from, as well as accessing the towns main attractions. We had a car and managed to find street parking just opposite, they do have a loading zone at the front if you want to drop off your bags and then drive and find parking (if nothing in the street near the hotel, try the streets near Leclerc Supermarket)

We only stayed one night and did not have breakfast but the rooms were clean and of a good standard. The hotel is within an easy walk of the centre of the town which meant we could walk and visit all the sights.

My only gripe was location map. It clearly shows the hotel in a different location to where it actually is so we had to stop and ask directions. Not a great problem but easily rectified by the owners. It would also be good if at the same time the entrance to the hotel parking was identified on Booking.com.

The room was outstanding with a good working AC. The bed and pillows were comfy. The room was nicely furnished and it overlooked the pool. The decor of the hotel is so beautiful and the central courtyard is a gem. All staff are very nice and helpful, This hotel has very good parking facilities too. The location is very central. I would wish to return to this lovely hotel.

A well located hotel and within a 5 mins walk to the amazing Plaza Mayor. An atmospheric hotel that was once a convent. Clean comfortable quiet rooms. Good breakfast. All of the sites were within walking distance from the hotel. Professional staff. Fist time and will stay again.

Simplicity, comfort, location and friendliness of the staff. The hotel has large, comfortable rooms and is located a few minutes away by foot from the Plaza Mayor, at the centre of Trujillo.

The hotel rates are good value, but the breakfast is a little on the high side for what it is.

Fantastic location on the edge of the historic centre, perfect for exploring. Certainly one of the most convenient parking I’ve ever seen at a property I have stayed in, directly under the property with a lift that virtually arrives at the front door.

Great location at the edge of Trujillo with parking available on site (very tight for manoeuvring). Very interesting and well preserved historic building. Spacious rooms with very good en suite bathroom

Covid madness. The pool was shut due to local restrictions and we were advised in advance that we would not be able to have lunch or dinner at the hotel because the kitchen was closed. However, whist we were there, several parties of people were being catered for in the dining area. The bed was very hard
