The staff were very friendly. The hotel is set on a vineyard and it's really cool to be able to just walk around the garden and checkout all the grapes and bananas. The swimming pool isn't huge but nice to relax around and have a beer. Also the area is nice and quiet which is what we were looking for, compared to some of the coastal beach cities to the south.

The booking.com page for the hotel made it seem like a "Continental Buffet" breakfast was included in the price, but in reality we had to pay separately for this - an error on booking.com rather than on the part of the hotel. In the end, the food was actually very good.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in for a very long time! Everything about it was perfect and the staff were so friendly and helpful even sourcing a smart TV so that I could watch the football World Cup games! It would be hard to improve on the location away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts, about a 15 minute drive from the airport and in the middle of so many bodegas. All of the facilities including the bedroom were well maintained and spotlessly clean. Food in the restaurant was excellent as were drinks in the bar. I'm very surprised that the hotel appears to have only a 1* rating as it punches well above that. I can't recommend it highly enough and I eagerly anticipate a return visit to Hotel Rural Finca de la Florida.

The elegance of the hotel and its territory and the wonderful staff working in it. I'd especially like to thank the people who served at the bar restaurant (the waiter and the chef) as they very extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the heart of Lanzarote, in a very peaceful and authentic area compared to more touristic Puerto Del Carmen, for instance. Its position is strategically perfect, you can reach all the popular sites in just 15-30-60 minutes of driving.

My room was next to the entrance so I heard all the people coming inside with trolleys. The cleaning staff started working at around 7 am and I could also hear them. The hotel is a traditional Lanzarote house, so it's comprehensible it could get noisier than in more modern buildings.

the gym and sauna were not working but there was nowhere (not the website, nor on Booking) were this was stated it is annyoing and false publicity, in case these facilitites are not working this should clearly be stated somewhere as we would have chosen another place to stay in case we would have known. When asked and reported this, the staff didn't even offer anything to compensate it

The location is great, in a very quiet place but near to many interesting spots. It's not far from different "pueblos", so you can find supermarkets and restaurants around. The room was spacious and very clean, the staff is friendly and I had a delicious meal at the restaurant (you should make reservations in advance, the restaurant is not always open). They have free parking, which is good, because it's highly recommended to rent a car in Lanzarote. The price is totally honest, they don't try to distract you with pretentious fancy decor and over charge for that.

I spoke with the receptionist the day before our arrival as we wanted to see if we could check in a little bit earlier than indicated as we wanted to time to explore the wine growing region and wine route. This we were assured was no problem. The next day our check in was quick, efficient and “painless”. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious with a large open balcony facing into a vineyard with a beautiful panoramic view of these and the distance mountains. We chose to eat in the hotels restaurant. It was the best meal that we had our whole three weeks in staying on Lanzarote! We would strongly recommend this restaurant even if you’re not staying in the hotel. We didn’t have time to use the swimming pool, miniature golf course or fitness centre.

Whereas, we didn’t necessarily book this hotel for the gym, we were disappointed with the fitness facility. No treadmill or cross trainer and only a very limited amount of weight equipment.

Very interesting location in the middle of the vineyards. Spacious and comfortable room. Quiet, calm surroundings well away from tourist hotspots. Nice pool and surrounding area. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Generous portions of well cooked food from interesting menus in the evening.

Our ground floor terrace looked on to the car park, so not private. Breakfast generous but mediocre in content.

The hospitality of the staff is incredible! The kitchen is comparable with a 5 star restaurant. Suitable for all preferences and diets, even vegan. This place had such a positive effect on our holiday! The extra attention, smiles and chit-chat makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The place has a charm plus some luxury to relax or activities to do in the surrounding. In the end we decided to stay an extra day to enjoy this place some more. Big recommendation!

The staff were friendly & accommodating & I really liked the location/grounds. There’s a vineyard & orchard on-site (the gardener was kind enough to give me a tour & a few bunches of grapes!), a pool, a mini golf circuit, sun beds and a masseuse can be arranged as well. I spent 2 nights here, and enjoyed unwinding by the pool. But if you have a car, it’s in a good location to travel around the island. I got upgraded to a suite on one night which was also a pleasant experience :) Also all the rooms had netting on the windows which was important for me as it can get hot at night, and you want to keep the mosquitoes out while having the windows open.

Hmm the fact you couldn’t drink the tap water was a bit annoying as I had to keep asking for plastic bottled water. Apart from that it would be hard to complain! The food is decent too but you can easily get around with a taxi/car if you wanted to eat out. The reception is able to book a taxi at short notice which was very handy as there had been a shortage of car rentals when I was on the island.

Fantastic facilities. Gym, sauna, pool. Comfortable and well appointed room. Great location in centre of island and so well placed for exploring. Excellent food, particularly evening meal. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Reasonably priced.
