PLAYABALLENA SPA HOTEL

All staff was very friendly and there were activities almost at any time of the day. Just bear in mind the kids clubs (there are 3, depending on age) are from 3 yo and on. In the restaurant, there was a show-cooking area with freshly cooked omelettes (breakfast), pizzas and fish/meet (lunch/dinner).

It was hard to find a sunbed, let alone with a shade. The restaurant was what we liked less. We were with half-board. The tables at the restaurant where too tall and it was hard to reach the food. And even with the highchair, the baby could reach comfortably. Food was a bit repetitive and the labels rarely matched what was in the dishes. And it was really really crowded, even outside the pick hours. Parking is terrible in the area.

Clean, location, breakfast.

Reception did not advice us about all included option, waiters at capitán bar you have to pay them maybe for a smile, I’m in Spain 15 years at any menu drinks cost 05 Euros and you have to pay additional amount for the soft drink machine ridiculous. Staff at the Sport bar very pleasant and professional.

Very clean, off season quiet. Pool is fabulous. Great restaurants nearby. Near to my friends apartment. Very good value for money. Balcony and fridge in rooms.

Would be very noisy in school holidays. Outside restaurants no open until 2pm

The room was clean and had a nice view. I liked the hotel's buffet dinner which is very reasonably priced and has a good selection too. The rooms are spacious, although it is weird that there are mirrors everywhere.

We didn't realize that you have to book for the spa in advance and by the time we did it was already booked up. They should have some information about this in the room. Minibar was also empty, would have been nice to have a few basic drinks in there.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, especially the garden view on the bottom floor. Two minutes' walk from the beach was excellent 👌🏽

The Spa could've been bigger, in my opinion. The lady at the reception of the spa told us to keep our voices down OUTSIDE! When we went in there were loads of people inside, which in my opinion was too many people for its size! And too noisy, adults acting like children 🙄 in a supposedly quiet and relaxing 😌 place. It's also missing a Hamam, which is a lot better than a sauna for me.

The location and Facilities were very good.

The bed and pillows were really really bad,i think people wouldn’t come back because of that. I came for a football tournament and everyone was complaining about the same thing.

When booking my room, I didn’t realize how big it would be, which suitable for family with kids. Anyways, enjoyed there tremendously as it had beautiful and spacious terrace overlooking pool area, where you can sun bath. The bathroom was another star of this place as it had beautiful tiles and spacious tube. Pool was clean and has jacuzzi and very affordable bar. Overall, it’s perfect getaway for families or group of friends, and it also has all inclusive options with buffet restaurant.

Restaurant food was nothing special, plain taste with limited variety. Pool water temperature could have been a few degrees higher

The beds were very comfortable. Staff very pleasant. Walking distance to a beautiful beach

The hot water in the urn, not hot enough to make a decent cup of tea, even with my own tea bags

I enjoyed the buffet but selection of food could’ve been better. The location was good since it wasn’t far from work. I think the room could also use more pillows and instead of double beds why not get a king or queen

Overall our stay at the hotel was great, it wasn’t anything in general that I didn’t like. Maybe make the buffet with more items to eat I believe that would make the experience a lot better.
