HSM Linda Playa

The lovely lady who checked us in (I think her name is spelled Xisco) was very cheerful and helpful with any inquiries we had. The room faced the sea (room 311). Good space in the wardrobe. Bathroom very nice. Balcony very nice. Location to the beach and boulevard with all the restaurants and shops was excellent - just a few steps away. We did not have a car and did not need one. The swimming pool was very inviting. Lots of sunbeds and parasols. There are lots of staff employed by this hotel so there was never any problem with having to wait for food or drinks or any maintenance work. The buffet breakfast had the most amazing selection of just about everything you could ever want to eat/drink and the tables were cleared really efficiently and discreetly. I congratulate all the staff, especially the housekeeping staff who kept everything spotless clean. The whole atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed and we really felt like we were on holiday (some big chain hotels can have lots of rules and regulations).

Wifi was a bit weak but not a problem. Had to pay for a safety deposit box in the room - why ?

The room was comfy and spacious for two people. There was sea view. Facilities were clean and in the off-season it wasn't very busy. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. There's a bike room with tools and places for 8 bikes. There's a big selection at breakfast. Internet works great.

The balcony light stays on until midnight and can't be deactivated. Juices tasted watery and coffee wasn't good either. There's just one elevator for a lot of rooms.

The food is delicious, there is a lot of choice. Everything is clean, the room is cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very close to the beach, which is great. Also, the bus that goes to and from the airport (A11) stops near the hotel. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

Thin walls, everything can be heard from the corridor, above and below, but it's like that in more or less every hotel I've been to. Water should be free with dinner, everything else is ok to pay, but water should be included in the price.

The buffet breakfast had great choice, was really fresh and was excellent quality. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the prices in the bar/ around the pool were reasonable and the equivalent to bars that we went too and it was great to be able to buy large bottles of water around the pool as we got through a lot as it was so hot. The hotel was clean and comfortable and we will be going back!

There isn’t much to add here, our only gripe is that we didn’t have a kettle in the room.

This is the second time this year that we have stayed in this hotel as we enjoyed it so much when we stayed back in June. The hotel is in an excellent location just a few metres from the beach, shops, restaurants and bus stop so we did not need a car. We stayed in a twin room (403) with sea view from 29 Oct-3 Nov. The room has good aircon and a mini fridge and was very quiet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a huge variety of hot and cold. We had half-board and the evening buffet also had a huge choice. The wifi worked very well. Palma airport is about 30 mins taxi ride and cost us €45 (you can get a bus in the summer months).

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - otherwise everything was great.

Breakfast/Dinner buffet was excellent; lots of vegeterian options, and most notably, different options between breakfast and dinner on a daily basis. Staff was super nice, offered us a cold dinner as we arrived late in the night. Great value for money, if you are looking for a small town, sandy beach and a quiet atmosphere overall. Guests were mainly Germans, and surprisingly, staff also tries/speaks a bit of German as well :-)

Not much to dislike, except the 13.5 eur for beach beds with no drinks included in Peguera :-(

the food was poor (ne paella and not much sea food)and the quality of the meat by dinner was not as we expected

Fantastic breakfast and evening buffet dinner - lots of choice and changes daily. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel. Lots of additional facilities - e.g. board games in pool bar, book exchange. Very close to fabulous beach nearby less than 4min walk. Shops, bars and restaurants also very close by. Pool was perfect. Evening entertainment and daytime entertainment also provided.

gym didn't open until 10am which was a bit too late, would have preferred to exercise before breakfast.

Hotel was clean and tidy, compact size so not overwhelming at all. Perfect location, close to the sea and the main street. Food was good quality with a variety of choices each day. Staff extremely helpful and professional. We got a family room which was more than expected, big in size with two double beds and very nice and clean bathroom. Balcony was the right size, overlooking the see so always nice sit and chat whilst having nice views.

All was in order, even the prices of the drinks during dinner were very affordable.

Beautiful and clean hotel. We had room with terace, where you can sit and enyoj. All inclusive breakfast and dinner were amazing. Amazing apetizers (sea food / meat / vegetarian), freshly prepared steaks and a lot of side dishes. And selection of vegetables was stunning. And if you are really picky eater, you can enyoj in pizza slice and french fries.
